Kagome's Pregnancy

"I-InuYasha...?" Kagome whispered as she slowly sat on the couch.

"Yes, my lovely wife?" InuYasha walked and sat beside her.

She blushed after hearing the endearment that came out from his mouth.

"N-Nothing. I-It's just... I want to eat something. I'm hungry."

"What do you want then?" InuYasha asked.

"Hmm... Ice cream? No. Strawberry yoghurt. Wait, I want mangoes. No, Riceballs! I mean--"

"Kagome, are you okay?"

InuYasha sighed, thinking that this is natural for pregnant ladies.

"Y-Yes, I'm okay. I just want--"

"Pudding?"

"Okay then..."

He stood up, ran to the fridge, and took out the left over pudding.

When he gave it to her, Kagome was a bit annoyed.

"I don't want that one. That was yesterday."

InuYasha's jaw dropped. "w-what do you want then?"

"Strawberry ice cream."

InuYasha bought some strawberry ice cream from the nearby store.

He ran and gave it to her.

"You're late."

"I'm sorry it's just--"

"I want yoghurt now."

He took a deep breath, then just nodded even though he's tired from work.

He was about to run when Kagome stopped him.

"Wait! I changed my mind. Please give me that ice cream."

He quickly ran and grabbed the ice cream from the freezer and gave it to her.

"I changed my mind-- No. I'll just eat this."

She grabbed the ice cream and scooped out to eat it.

"Geez, you're messy, Mrs. Taisho."

She gave him a glare, which made InuYasha freeze.

"...I was just kidding."

She continued eating.

He sat near her. "Wow Kagome, calm down. It won't disappear." InuYasha surprisingly said as he watched his wife messily eating the ice cream.

She kept filling her mouth that she can barely speak.

"I... just... love... it." she said between her taste of her ice cream.

"Oh, and... another thing..." Kagome swallowed the ice cream that was in her mouth so she can speak clearly. "make me laugh."

"Huh? How?" InuYasha was surprised.

"Be like a clown. Dance. Act weird. Create funny faces." she ordered.

"B-But--"

"No buts! Just go!"

"Oh, big-stomached ladies! I can't do that!"

Kagome stopped eating, then placed the strawberry ice cream on the center table in front of her.

She held her tummy, and dramatically spoke.

"Baby... Our daddy hates us now..." she whispered.

"Kagome..." he sat beside her and swept away those mess on her face by his handkerchief. "...I love you. Both of you. But... I can't do stuff like that."

Tears fell down from her eyes now, which made InuYasha watch her sob in shock.

"Daddy doesn't care about us anymore!" she screamed as she continued crying.

InuYasha was irritated, but he understood girls.

"Kagome." he grabbed her wrist, then pulled her to give her a sweet and tight hug. "Don't think that way. Please?"

Kagome tried calming herself down. She then just realized how tired he was from his work.

"I... I'm sorry if you're very exhausted now. I'm sorry if I'm also d-dramatic. Or overacting." she slowly hugged him back.

InuYasha just smiled. "Kagome, it's fine. I understand you. Besides, I promise to love you for who you are, right?" he asked.

She looked up and nodded.

After minutes of silence, she suddenly asked.

"am I ugly when I am fat?"

"h-huh?" InuYasha blinked in surprise.

"I'm ugly now... right?" her eyes looked down.

He chuckled. "Mrs. Taisho, chubby or skinny, I still love you."

"r-really?" she looked up as a wide smile appeared on her lips.

"Yes, my queen." he gave a peck of kiss on Kagome's forehead.

"I don't want a kiss there." she pouted.

InuYasha chuckled and blushed a bit because of Kagome's cute lips.

"Where do you want it then?" he asked.

"here." Kagome pointed her pouty lips.

He laughed, and kissed her.

It was not short. It was a bit long and passionate.

But when he realized that Kagome was panting now, he stopped.

"Kagome, we must stop this. Or else we'll both land on the bedroom again. I don't want our baby to cry." he winked.

"E-Eh?! S-Stop that! B-Baby can hear you!" Kagome's face turned red as she moved her face down.

"Oh. Is that so?" he held Kagome's tummy. "I'm sorry, baby. Dad's a bit crazy because of Mom's prettiness." he leaned down and kissed Kagome's tummy.

Suddenly, the baby kicked.

"Ooh!" Kagome exclaimed as she held her stomach.

"Is there something wrong?" InuYasha quickly grabbed her shoulders.

She laughed.

"I-It tickles-- ooh!"

"What? What tickles?"

"Our baby's kick-- ooh!" Kagome kept laughing from the ticklish feeling inside her stomach.

InuYasha placed his right hand on Kagome's stomach, and felt a kick.

"w-wow!" he happily exclaimed.

In happiness, he kissed Kagome in the cheek.

"B-Baby's like you, energetic!" Kagome smiled at her husband.

"Oh, is that so? Maybe our baby boy is also handsome like me." he kissed her nose, which made Kagome smile and blush.

"I love you, InuYasha."

"I love you too, my lovely queen."
