The Family And The Dream

When InuYasha was back with Kagome's mother and brother,

He saw Kagome crying happily.

"Kagome!" Mrs. Higurashi and Sota yelled in unison, as they ran close to her.

Sango, Ayame, Koga, and Miroku, on the other hand,

Kept looking at the letter and chuckle.

InuYasha, in irritation, grabbed the letter from Koga's hand.

"This was supposed for Kagome, not for you guys."

"We're sorry, Prince InuYasha!" Ayame gave a smile, which made InuYasha blush in embarassment.

"Don't worry, we won't judge you.

We're only amazed on how you showed love using only a piece of paper and a pen." Sango said.

"In writing,

Of course,

I'm adding my feelings to it."

He gave a small smile.

"You're our inspiration, Sir!" Koga gave a friendly chuckle.

"Idiots. Exists everywhere." InuYasha laughed softly.

As he turned to the family,

He saw Kagome's eyes gleaming in happiness.

' My princess is now happy. ' He thought.

Unconscious,

Someone tugged his shirt.

"hm..?"

As he look down,

He saw that it was Sota.

"Oh, hey there little buddy. What's the matter?" He kneeled down to be in the same level as the kid.

"I just want to say thank you for taking care of my sister, and of course, for letting us here."

A tear fell down from Sota's eyes.

"There, there.

It's not a big deal.

And little buddy, don't cry.

You're stronger than who you are today, bro."

He patted his head to calm him down.

"Thanks, big brother!" he smiled as he swept those tears away.

Kagome slowly sat up,

And saw InuYasha helping her younger brother.

"My dear,

You got a good boyfriend."

Her mother smiled.

"W-Wait, y-you know that--"

"I experienced that feeling, love.

There's no reason to hide.

Don't worry, I'm not mad.

You chose the right guy, sweetie."

She gave a warm hug to her daughter.

"T-Thanks mom."

Her cheeks flushed red from her mother's statement.

"Kagome?"

Sango excused and interrupted their conversation.

"Yes, Sango?" she gave a small smile to her.

"We must go. We must do our annoying responsibilities in your house. Don't worry, we'll be back, with new visitors." Sango winked, and walked away the room with Miroku, Ayame and Koga.

InuYasha sat on the chair, and closed his eyes for a bit.

"My love. We must clean the house. We'll be back tomorrow. I love you, my daughter." Her mother kissed Kagome's forehead, and smiled.

"Yes mom. Be safe. You too, Sota." She gave a soft giggle at her brother.

"I love you sister! Be safe!" Sota followed his mother and closed the door.

As Kagome stared at InuYasha, she saw him sleeping peacefully.

"Sleep well, my dear Prince." Kagome smiled and decided to stay up for her love.

Meanwhile,

As Kagome watches InuYasha,

Him,

On the other hand,

Was having a nightmare.

[ The Dream ]

InuYasha watched his father and mother cry and smile, as the light fades slowly.

"MOM! DAD!"

"My son.. Be strong."

The light disappeared; leaving darkness with them.

As he tried following them by crawling from his place,

His mom and dad's chest suddenly popped.

He saw their surprised expression as they fall down with a pool of blood.

"NO!!!"

He was out of his mind.

He doesn't know what to do.

As he closed his eyes and cried.

Suddenly, his sight under the eye's skin lightened, meaning that the light was appearing once again.

He looked up,

And saw Kagome.

"T-THIS CAN'T BE!"

He tried standing up,

But it looks like his legs were paralyzed badly.

"KAGOME!!!!"

"Inu..Yasha..."

He heard Kagome's weak voice.

He also heard Kagome finding a way to breathe normally, but she keeps failing.

Kagome's breath was getting slower and slower at the time.

"KAGOME!!!!"

When Kagome gave a smile,

A tear fell down from her right eye.

"I love you... Y-You know I do.."

When the light disappeared behind her once again,

Darkness caught the background.

He stared at Kagome with those sad eyes,

And suddenly,

Kagome screamed and fell down.
