As soon as we're both in the car I dial Angie's number. I have to let her know not to let Miles into Chris's room. The first two calls go to voicemail, and I'm left with only one choice. To call Miles. Three rings and he answers.

"Bella?" he questions.

"Hi. Are you at the hospital?" I ask, praying and hoping he isn't there.

"Yeah why, I justed parked the SUV."

"Cause I need you to pick me up." I say as Nathan parks his car on the second floor of the hospital parking lot.

"Ok, I'll be there in five minutes." he hangs up and I rush out of the car. He can't see me go inside, so I have to chose my entrance carefully. I'm pretty sure he'll be leaving through the back, and if I go through the front he will know I'm not back the hotel.

"How are we going to do this." Nathan takes my hand in his.

"I don't know. He'll know if we go through the front."

"Call Angie, have her get the hospital to let you through the helipad?" I shake my head. I have the urge to laugh, how can he think that they'll let me in through the helipad?

"They won't Nathan, I'm not that important." I can't hold my laughter.

"Bella they will. Just have her call." he insists. I look around and see the ambulance entrance. They won't mind if I go in through there. I grab Nathan's hand and pull him along as I run towards the entrance. Out of the corner of my I can see nurses coming my way. Nathan tugs my hand and we turn the corner.
"Let's go up the stairs, that way we can avoid being seen by anyone else." I nod, and we both race up to the fifth floor. I'm completely out of breath when I step into the corredor.

"I need to hit the gym again." I laugh. Nathan doesn't say anything and I mentally thank him. He takes my hand in his and leads the way towards the ICU room where Chris is.

"Bella." Nathan calls my name. I look up, and I see cops standing outside the room. Nurses and doctors running into the room. What happened?

"What are they doing here?" I mumble under my breath. They should be at the hotel, not here. I walk up to the officer.

"Hello officer. Is there a problem?" He looks down at me, and doesn't say anything. My mind begins to race. Is Chris ok? Did Miles kill him? I push past the officer and see Chris being revived.

"Chris!" I cry and rush in the room. I'm stopped by two nurses, but I push them out of the way. "What happened!" I shout for answers but it seems no one can hear me.

"You can't be in here right now." A nurse says as she grabs me by my arm.

"What do you mean I can't be in here? I'm his girlfriend!"

"We have a pulse! We have a pulse" a doctor shouts. Relief rushes through my body. He's going to be ok. Oh thank god. He isn't dead. Thank you lord. He's ok, he's alive and he's still with me. One doctor turns to look at me, and smiles.

"We're going to clear out, and you can stay here." He nods in the direction of everyone else in the room, and they begin to clear the room one by one. Once all the nurses have left, I see a doctor standing by the nurses station.

"Excuse me doctor, but why did Chris flat line?"

"He was injected with a substance that we believe made him flat line."

"Injected? Who injected him?" Miles is the only person that comes to mind.

"Security is checking the cameras. A nurse said she saw a man walk in here, but we're still not sure." I nod my head slowly. It had to have been Miles. There is no doubt in my mind that it was him. I'm taken out of my thoughts when my phone begins to vibrate.
