Chapter 10: Another Dimension

"Okay, okay. Slow down. That doesn't make sense. If Jude married your mother, what makes Natsu's parents?" Lissana asked.

"As we all know, there are only one royal position in each dimension. A prince of the demon dimension, and a princess of the Angel dimension. My mother was the Queen of the angel dimension and my father was the king of the demon dimension. Going back to your question Lissana. I did a little research on them. There was his father, Igneel Dragneel. His mother, Grandine Dragneel. Lastly, was his sister, Wendy Dragneel. They are not a demon, angel, nor a human."

"Then what are they? Ghosts?" Lissana asked.

"No. They are... dragons."

"Dragons!?" Lissana asked in surprised. "But we haven't seen dragons in this world, or none at all really.

"They disguised themselves as humans, or demons perhaps."

"Why did the ring react to Natsu if he doesn't have demon blood?"

"These are just my assumptions, but Igneel and Jude were close friends, and when Jude died, somehow someone must have made us think Igneel was the rightful ruler of the demons, and before Jude died he was able to give some of his blood to Igneel. Therefore, Igneel injected Jude's blood into Natsu, which made the ring react to him."

"That's amazing Lucy."

"I don't know if this is true or not, but it was the only logical reason I could think of."

"Then, do you know where these dragons came from?"

"I read through many history books and a page written before the year x777 came up, it said that scientists created a portal, so that they could teleport to a specific timeline."

"Which was?"

"They wanted to go back in the past where the dragons were still alive. The portal was successful for a short amount of time, but then it started to act on its own, and the portal exploded, but before it did two dragons already escaped."

"Which was Igneel and Grandine!" Lissana connected.

"Correct. You catch on fast. I read
the book many times and came to a conclusion. There was a reason to the explosion. I read
through many history books, but none of it said that dragons went extinct or killed. Instead they all disappeared because they were transported into the dragon dimension, and due to the dimension the portal exploded. No specific details, but that's what happened."

"Where did you find this information?"

"I went through a lot. Emotionally, mentally, and physically."

"I'm sure Levy and you would get along." Lissana chuckled. "Oh Levy is our--- "

"I know who she is." I smiled.

"Oh, you met her before?"

"Yeah... By accident. I also met Erza by accident too. Sorry for pretending I didn't know."

"It's fine." I saw Lissana look at the sky. "Sorry I have to go."

"Go back home. I don't want you to get scolded because of me." I chuckled.

"Bye Lucy. I hope we can see each other again." She waved back at me and left.
