Aphmaus Proposal

Zane's POV

She finally admitted it.

She admitted hope was no longer good enough. She admitted to herself that her 'guard in shining armour' will not rescue her.

Finally she excepts her fate.

She excepts that her life will no further be how she once lived before. She excepts her new life. She excepts her destiny of not being lord.

"I will leave you alone, so you can contemplate what you really 'signed up' for."

A smile widened on my face.

The plan is finally working. Now I just need Garroth to uphold his part of the deal.

He's not going to. I know my big brother too well to say he won't. He 'loves' the people he protects too much to just give up on them. He wouldn't ever just throw their loyalty aside for his own reward.

That is what I never understood.

If you love them so much, are you really protecting them?

In the end, all you are doing is making it harder for them leave. Even when it is for their own good.

You're just making them want to hold on, when they are better off on their own, letting go.

Everyone says I'm evil for even thinking it, yet alone believing in it.

Let me tell you this, true evil is caring about the people you 'love' and then stabbing them in the back. Taking all of the trust they had, and then pretending like none if it mattered. Like it was just an act, and most of the time, that is all it is.

An act.

I just let them suffer to begin with. So then, it's easier for them to let go, because they never held on to me. They never relied on me. They never needed to rely on me. All they needed to do is turn there feelings to me to hatred instead of neutral.

Heh, Garroth, you have been the true evilness that lerked through Ru'an since the beginning. Not me.

He just never knew it.

He never knew he was going to be the one who would let his own brother take over the village he once served. To take over the place he showed loyalty to, and the people who are stationed inside it.

He never knew he was going to break out the evil inside of him, and unleash it to the people he thought he loved. To her.

"High Priest, are you alright? You've been standing near Lady Aphmau's door for a little while."

One of the servants in the castle was talking to me.

Her skin was tan, and her hair was silky brown. Her eyes as startling as ever.

Too many memories.

"Hmm? Oh, yes, I'm fine. Just, deep in my thoughts."

"Well, we all know when you do, the outcome is never good."

She murmered the words under her breath. They were full of pure hatred.

See, this is a great example.

"Hmm? Sorry, did you say something? I didn't catch it."

"Oh, nothing, High Priest."

That's what I thought.

I walked away, and into my room within the castle.

How am I going to get Garroth to execute his part of the plan.

This question was the biggest piece of the puzzle. I know what he is going to do. He has done it once before.

All he has to do is forget the people he once loved. That is how he thinks.

All he has to do is make them forget, and for you to forget them. That is the only way he thinks. The only way he allows himself to think.

All you had to do was never have loved them in the first place. It would have eased the pain.

He believes you can just simply forget the people who had a great impact on your life. All you have to do is leave them, and they can forget the indent in their life you made in them, and that you can do the same.

That all it takes is ten seconds to forget the most influential moments of your life.

You know what, you might be right 'big brother'.

This one way fairly kind of easy. I'm not going to say 'Oh, that was soooo easy creating a character that has no backstory at all, and making one out of thin air' because that is like saying the pacer test is 'ridiculously easy'. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Idk y, but I have been really inspired today. Also, don't ask me who that peraon with Zane was because I'm not even sure. I have two options, but Idk which one I like better. Oh well, I'll just ask Kawaii_Anime_Kat. I go to her with all of my writing problems. And relationship problems. And math problems. You know what, I go to her for all my problems. Need book ideas? Go to her! Need medical attention and need help? Call her! Actually you should probably go see a doctor for that one. I'm sorry, but I don't think even she can fix that one.
