Garroth was supposed to bring the amulet to Zane and he did, but before that when aphmau was away, we found out more about Zane's back story and he started to open up. When garroth gave him the amulet, he was going to go to the Irene dimension with garroth in chains to activate aphmau power but he had a special tool that could neutralize the time difference and make the time the same while he was there but then go back to the one minute 1 year thing once he left, but he wanted to wair until aphmau actually trusted him and to see if it was even possible before the wedding. As Zane started to warm up aphmau and show himself his I'm not a monster self, she started to reciprocate those actions. There were going to be a lot of lovey dovey moments and in the end Zane didn't use the amulet to use her for her power, but to instead tell her about her potential and expose her to her true potential
And they lived happily ever after. The end
