IMAGINE!
It was girl’s night out, and you all went to a local bar. Your hair was down, and perfectly curled, your make-up was without a flaw, and your outfit was breath-taking. You looked stunning. All of you were single and ready to mingle. Through-out the night you received about 10 phone numbers, and 1000’s of complements.
“Hey, hot stuff” A man said walking by, pinching your bum. You slapped his hand, and walked away.
“This place is getting crazy” Your best friend said “Let’s get out of here!”
You all agreed, and all piled out of the door.
~~~HOURS LATER~~~
“Fuck, I forgot my phone” You said.
You were all at your best friend’s house, playing drinking games, and chatting up a storm. Now none of you were drunk, but you weren’t able to drive so you called a cab.
“Be back in a bit” You called out to everyone as you ran out the door.
The cool breeze of the night air flowed through your hair, and sent a shiver down your spine. You hopped into the cab, and told him where to go. It was an awkward drive there, and you were happy once it was over. You quickly paid the man and ran inside.
“Uhm sorry, we’re closed” The bartender said.
“Please sir, I forgot my phone here earlier tonight” You said, hoping it was here.
The bartender quickly thought about it, and went behind the bar.
“This must be yours” He said, handing you your phone.
You nodded, then you both looked up at the same time, and your eyes met, and never left. That moment it felt like the world had stopped, and you two were the only people in the world, it felt magical.
“I’m Liam” He said, breaking the moment.
“Y/N” You said.
“Why don’t you have a drink? On the house!” Liam shouted going behind the bar to grab you a beer.
“Sure” You replied.
Liam sat down, and put a beer in front of you, and a beer in front of him. You both sipped on the drink, and talked.
The night felt wonderful, and Liam looked amazing.
He had brown hair, and brown eyes. His voice was perfect, and his laugh was amazing.
“Oh by the way, these drinks actually cost you somthing” Liam said.
You frowned, you had no money, and were really into this guy.
“You owe me a dance” Liam continued.
You blushed, and looked up at Liam. He smiled, then went to the far corner of the room where the DJ Booth was and put on a beautiful song, “I don’t want to miss a thing – Aerosmith”
Liam returned from across the room, and stood infront of you.
“May I have this dance” Liam said, holding out his hand.
“You may” You giggled, taking Liam’s hand.
He lead you to the middle of the dance floor, and put his arms around your waist pulling you in closer and you put your arms around the back of his neck. You both slowly danced. You both kept your eyes locked together. It was perfect.
“I’ve been waiting for someone like you, and when I was about to give up hope here you are, you finally found me” You said to Liam.
“No matter where you are, I will always find you. I’m glad you’re here with me tonight. And this dance is perfect.” Liam said, smiling.
You blushed, and smiled back.
You two danced even once the song was over.
~~~~~~~4 years later~~~~~~
“LIAM” You called out, finishing getting dressed.
“DOWNSTAIRS!” He called out.
You made your way downstairs, and saw Liam standing in the middle of the kitchen with a picnic basket in one hand and a blanket in the other.
“Wanna go on a picnic?” Liam asked, holding up the picnic basket.
You nodded your head, and you both ran into the car.
Liam looked at you, as you sat in the passenger seat, your hair flowing in the wind.
“I love you” He said, putting him hand on your leg
“I love you too” You replied smiling.
You had no clue where Liam was taking you, nor did you care. Both of you always had a blast just being together.
Liam turned into a rundown bar, and turned the car off. He looked over at you, and smiled before getting out of the car. He opened the trunk to grab the picnic basket and the blanket.
You looked up at the old sign that hung above the bar, it was the bar you and Liam had mer. Right then and there you knew today was going to be special.
You walked in and Liam already had the picnic set up, and was sitting on the blanket, waiting for you. You quickly ran towards him, and sat beside him.
“Turkey or Ham?” Liam asked, holding up two sandwiches
“Turkey” Your replied, taking the turkey sandwich out of his hand, and shoving it in your face.
Liam laughed, and took a bite of his sandwich.
You two finished your sandwiches quickly, and then Liam got up and told you to remain seated with your eyes closed.
You heard Liam’s footsteps go across the room, then yours and his song came on, I don’t want to miss a thing – Aerosmith.
You quickly shot up, and opened your eyes. You spun around to see Liam, on one Knee with the most beautiful ring you have ever seen, in a navy blue box.
“Oh Liam” You cried, running towards him.
“Will you marry me?” Liam asked, looking into your eyes.
“Yes!” You nodded, tears streaming down your face.
Liam slowly slid the ring on your finger, then stood up and kissed you like never before.
“Oh by the way, this marriage actually costs you something” You said, after the kiss.
Liam frowned, thinking he did something wrong.
“It will cost you a dance” You said.
Liam smiled, and let out his hand
“May I have this dance” He asked
“You may” You giggled, taking his hand.
He lead you to the middle of the room, and he put his arms around your waist pulling you close, and you put your arms behind his neck, and there you two danced.
“I’ve been waiting for someone like you, and when I was about to give up hope here you are, you finally found me” You said to Liam.
Liam smiled and said
“No matter where you are, I will always find you. I’m glad you’re here with me tonight. And this dance is perfect.”
