Skylar POV

"What?" I replied in complete shock.

"Skylar, it's the best for you and Elizabeth." Vicky replied. I bet Vicky was part of Lauren's plan of grandma and I moving in with Lauren.

"No, Skylar and I aren't moving in your house Lauren. We are fine in my house." Grandma argues.

"Eliz Aunty this is for your benefit and I promise you could move back to your house when your health is better." Lauren argues back.

"Lauren, it's no need for this, I'm much better then before and I can surely take care of Skylar and myself." Grandma replies.

Vicky walks closer to grandma and I. "Stop lying Elizabeth, we all know how you are struggling to take care of yourself and Skylar. Just think about it, what would happen if it becomes harder for you to take care of Skylar. You might take more bank loans, sale more items and spend all your savings to take care of her, but by doing this you would create bigger problems in life."

What? I was never told that grandma had to sale her belongings and take bank loans to take care of me. She told me that she has plenty of savings and money left that my parents gave.

I see grandma thinking about what Vicky just said.

"And you Skylar." Vicky turns to talk to me. "Have you ever thought while you are gone to school how your grandma takes care of herself. She doesn't even take her medication because she is so worried about you. Elizabeth told me not tell you this but sorry Elizabeth I will have to. A week ago when you were at school she had fainted like today because of her health luckily I came on time or she would have been in hospital like she is today."

I turned my head to see grandma. Why didn't she tell me she was in a bad situation? I thought everything was settling in place slowly as time went by. But I was wrong, everything was becoming worse.

"Now think about what Lauren suggest maybe by moving in with her would make your life easier." Vicky is right, someone needs to be with grandma all the time and half of the time I'm in school.

"So is that a yes or a no?" Lauren asks. I look at grandma and see her nodding her head no, then faced Lauren again.

"Yes but just until grandma health doesn't get normal." I see grandma face in surprise. The only reason I'm agreeing to this is for grandma.

Lauren had a big smile on her face.

"Thanks Lauren." I say. She gave me a tight hug.

"I can't wait for you to see your room. My daughter helped me to decorate your room and Eliz Aunty's.

**********

After a while we signed forms in the hospital to take grandma home....well Lauren's house.

"Hurry up, Chris is waiting for us." Lauren said in an excited voice.

I rolled grandma's chair to the elevator. "Skylar, why did you say yes to Lauren."

"Because it's better for you." I reply, the lift door opens and we enter the lift. The lift took as to the ground floor to the parking slot. I see Chris waiting for us.

"Hi Chris." I smile.

"Hello Skylar." He gave me a hand shake, then greeted grandma with a hug. I could see his face relax when he saw grandma alright.

We enter the car, first we dropped Vicky off to her house. Then we drove off to Chris and Lauren's house. Chris and Lauren were wonderful people, I could imagine them with my parents when they were younger.
