I kneeled down on the ground, and tilted my bag upside down. All my books and stationary fell out on the ground in front of me. I started searching through the pile of items, to find my house keys. I found my keys and tried opening the door, but it didn't open. Then I realised that those keys were for the back garden door, I had picked up the wrong keys from the desk in the morning when I was getting late for school.

I put the keys in my pocket and got up from the ground and left the mess I made on the ground. I went next to the front window and searched if the window was open. But it wasn't. I took a grip out from my pocket tried opening the lock on the front door. But it didn't open. What do I do now? I've tried all my attempts for finding a way getting in the house.

I heard the radio playing from my neighbours, Mr and Mrs Roths house. Maybe if I can asks Vicky to let me climb her back garden fence and open the back garden door to enter the house. I picked up all my items from the floor and chucked all my stuff in my bag before heading to Mrs Roth's house. I rang the bell three or four times, the door opened with Mrs Roth standing at the front of the door.

"Hello Skylar." She said with a warm smile.

"Hi Vicky, sorry for disturbing but I have a problem. Can I climb your back garden fence to get to my house."

"What?"

"Grandma isn't answering the door and I've been standing outside for around half an hour." I explained her.

"Yeah sure sweety, come in."

She opened the back garden door of her house. We went in the back garden, her fence was pretty high to climb, I could easily hurt myself from climbing the fence.

"How are you going to climb?" Vicky questions.

I look at the fence to see if I can find any support or grip. I found a place were they was some strong grip for me to climb up, but to help me I needed something to make me reach the top of the fence. I saw a bucket at the corner of the garden.

"Can I borrow that bucket?" I ask Vicky.

"Sure." She brought the bucket for me. It was a blue big bucket which was strong for me to stand on. I turned the bucket upside down and climbed on the bucket. I got a grip of the top of the fence and climbed up by pushing my feet from the side of the fence. When I reached at the top of the fence and looked down at my garden, the gap between me and the ground was huge. The only way I could get down was by jumping. Great.

I jumped off the fence and landed on my knees. Ouch!

My knees are bleeding and my tights have two massive holes where my knees are.

"You alright sweety!" I hear Vicky asking from the other side of the fence.

I replied "Yeah!" I took the keys out from my pocket and opened the back door of the house. I entered the kitchen and saw that the oven was on and something was burning inside it. I turned off the oven and went to the living room but grandma wasn't there.

"Grandma...grandma!" I shouted, but no reply I went to her bedroom downstairs but just saw papers scattered everywhere. I went upstairs and checked in the bathroom but she wasn't over there either, then I went to my bedroom and saw her lying on the floor with my parents photo frame in her hand. I kneeled down on my sore knees. "Grandma wake up. Please just wake up." She wouldn't wake up. I was getting scared. What do I do? I heard the door bell ring from downstairs. I ran down and opened the door and saw Vicky standing there.

"Where is Elizabeth?"

"S-she's fainted in my room." We both went upstairs in a rush. I kneeled down near grandma and lifted her head up on my lap while Vicky was calling the ambulance.
