Stranded

Chapter 3

Jessica woke when she began to feel the plane shake. The seatbelt sign came on, so all of them quickly put their seatbelts on.
The captain started speaking through the intercom,
"This is your captain speaking please stay in your seats because we are going to have to emergency land somewhere."

Jessica looked out the window and only only saw water. Meryl panicked, and held her tears back. The boys sat there panicked not able to move. Before Jess could even speak the plane already had began to go down.

Jessica woke up to the smell of burning flesh and it made her stomach churn. How did she know what that smell even was? Where was Meryl, Don and Danny? She pushed herself off of the ground and then realized she was perfectly fine. How was she okay? She wanted Danny desperately, but what if it was too late what if she was the only surviver?

Jessica started crying and cursing herself. Why me? Why did she have to suffer, hadn't she suffered enough having to deal with Sam three years before Danny had saved her? Why couldn't she be happy? She sobbed to herself.

She went on a mission to find anyone at all, but deep down her search was for her Husband and best
friends.

She checked where she'd woken up since Meryl had been sitting beside her on the plane.

She heard a muffled cry and realized she wasn't the only one. She was not the only survivor. Jessica couldn't help but to look up at the sky and say,
"Thank you."

She ran over to the muffled cry and quickly realized it was Meryl.

Meryl woke up and realizing she must have blacked out. She tried to get up but couldn't because there were two corpses on her legs and they both must weighed at least 250 pounds each. She laid there and couldn't help but to wonder about Don, all she wanted was Don. She wondered if her best friends made it or was she the only one? Meryl tried to calm her breathing, but she felt like she was suffocating. Was she gonna die like this, two heavy corpses on her legs and waist. While she had to sit there and smell burning flesh? She began to sob loudly all over again. She heard something and looked over. It was Jess screaming her name! She wasn't alone she wasn't gonna die at least not alone.

"A little help?" She began crying while smiling, happy tears I wasn't alone.
Jessica smiled, crying as they managed to get the bodies off of Meryl. Meryl stood up and hugged Jess as they both cried together.

"What are we going to do?"

"I don't know but all I can think about is Don" Meryl started crying again. Jessica began to sob and said she wanted Danny.
"We're gonna find them I promise you!" Meryl said through tears.
"Ok." Jessica said wiping her tears and taking deep breaths.
