Chapter 28

The doctors moved a bed into the room so Meryl could have a bed beside Jess.
They were holding each other's hands. Danny and Don were taking photos of them.
"Put that DAMN camera down DANIEL" Jess cries..
"I'VE CHANGED MY MIND DON I DONT WANNA HAVE A BABY."
"Meryl you have to have her."
"Can you do it please?" She cries
"No hunny you have to be strong for the baby though ok?"
"Ok" she whines.
Jess pants,moans and cries.
"GET THESE BABIES THE FUCK OUT OF ME I NEED THE EPIDURAL RIGHT FUCKING NOW."
Danny runs to the desk and asks for a doctor.

30 minutes later.
"Hello Mrs. Gummer and Mrs. Huston, I'm gonna check how dilated you both are okay?"
"Whatever" huffs Jess.
"Mm sure"Meryl says as she laughs because Don is whispering in her ear.
The doctor checks Jessica first.
"Jessica you're about 6 centimeters you can have the epidural I'll send someone after I check Meryl."
"Oh thank god"
The doctor moves to Meryl and checks Meryl.
"Meryl you're 8 centimeters."
"What?! Thats no fair!" Jess whines.
"Ha- shit fucking hell get this kid out of me!!" Meryl says as she has a contraction.
"Meryl you're too far along for an epidural."
"Haha I do win!" Jess laughs.

The nurse comes in as Jessica is having a contraction.
"You come near me with that needle at this moment you might get throat punched." Jess grunts and moans in pain.
After her contraction the nurse comes over and Danny holds her arms while she's getting the epidural.

30 min later..
"The epidural must've worked." Jess laughs.
Meryl grunts and cries.
"Jessica you're a bitch for rubbing it in."
Meryl grabs her stomach.
Don looks at her and jumps a little.
"Meryl I see Julianna's head."
"OH FUCK I FEEL HER HEAD  IT'S RIPPING ME APART GO GET A NURSE!!"
Just as she says that the doctor was coming in the door to check on her.
The doctor runs to her and she puts her legs up in the stirrups.
"Okay Meryl on the count of three push
One....
Two....
Three...
Push"
Meryl grunts and pushes as hard as she can.
The doctor does this 3 more times.
"Ok last one push!!"
Meryl pushes and cries at the same time.
They hear Julianna cry.
"Oh my god she's beautiful Meryl." Jess says in awe.
Jess gets a contraction and cries.
After the doctor cleans up Julianna he hands her back to Meryl and then walks over to Jess to check her.
"Ok youre ready to push too"
"Okay"
"On the count of three ok?
One
Two
Three"
Jess pushes.
"Okay don't push okay?"
"Oops..... Already did."
Meryl laughs.
"Okay you can push again."
Jess pushes.
"Okay last push I can see his little head."
Jess pushes then she hears Baylin cry.
The doctor cleans him up and hands him to her. Jessica and Danny are crying.
Jess tenses up again.
"I think Bryce is ready" Jess grunts and cries. Danny takes Baylin and rocks him, talking to him laughing.
"Okay Jessica you've gotta push you ready?"
"Yes" she cries out in pain.
"Okay push"
Jess pushes.
After three times of pushing....
"Okay Jess last push."
"I can't do it" Jess says drained.
"You've gotta."
Jess pushes with her last little bit of energy.
Bryce cries.
Meryl smiles at Julianna while Jess gets handed both babies.
"We've got our hands full." Jess says as she yawns.
