C h a p t e r 1

RECAP:

"Is that another heartbeat I hear, Moretz?" Damien took a step closer towards me and because of instinct I took a step back, "You're pregnant" It sounded more like a statement.

"What do you want?"

"It's simple... I want that child" He points at my stomach.

"What?" I covered my stomach with my arms and stared at him wuth disbelief and fear, "No, I'm not giving you my child!"

"Have it your way" I heard a scream before a snap somwhere in the room, it was big and spacious, but it was dimly litten... It seemed like this room has no corners.

"Who's that?" I asked, afraid.

"I'm pretty sure you know the answer to my question. Now... I'm gonna tell you one more time... Give me that child once she's born or more deaths will follow" The scent of a perfume hit my nose... Danielle....

"She--Anything else but that... Please"

"No! Who do you want next, Coreen? Your Mom, Your Dad, or Luke?"

Its' been seven months. I stared outside the balcony house as I placed my hand on my stomach. I could feel them moving around; one boy and one girl. Up until now Luke is still in coma because his wolf took too much damage... I don't know what to do anymore, I feel like all of this is my fault, that if I just didn't mess up maybe non of this would be happening, if I just...

"Oh my God" I whispered as a tear slipped out of my eye. Danielle is dead,and it's all because of me. Why is all this happening?

The baby... My child, is what he wants but I don't know if I could really give her to him. I went out of my room and went downstairs where my parents and little brother are. I ignored everyone as I made my way outside. It's summer, schools over and I feel like so is everything else. I can't do this alone. I need Luke, I need him here with me, I need to hear his heartbeat, to feel his warmth, to hear his voice, to kiss him and tell him how much he means to me.

But I can't, his pack hates me, they won't even let me take a step in their territory. I want to see him, I need to see him.

"You need to stop blaming yourself" I looked behind me to see Perrie. She has a look of sadness on her face, "You didn't do any of this, non of this is your fault"

"I don't know what to feel anymore" My voice broke, "Everything is falling apart"

"No, no" She approached me and hugged me, or more like tried to give me a proper hug but my tummy got in the way, "Everything will be all right, I don't know how but it will you can't give up yet! You can do this Coreen, you can get through this, we'll help you" It felt nice knowing the fact that there are still some people who care about me and still hasn't left me. It felt nice.

"God I can barely hug you, your stomach is the size of Jupiter!" She joked and I laughed a bit. She let go of my but her hands remains on my shoulder, "Twins right?"

"Yeah" I replied.

"Let's go inside" She says.

"So what are you naming them?" Perrie asked when we got in my room.

"Zachary and Zoe" I replied.

"Ooh, I'm so excited" Perrie smiled and on my bed, "Can't wait for them" She told me.

"I wish they'd stay in me forever" I say.

"Coreen, he's not going to get anywhere near you kids, he'll have to go through an entire pack, which is impossible because your pack is one of the strongest out there" She reassured me.

"That's just one of the things I'm worried this" I gestured to my tummy, "I don't now how to raise kids! I'm not even ready to be a Mother yet!"

"You'll be fine, and don't worry, Eleanor had a vision, Luke will wake up, she told me while I was heading to your place and told me to tell you"

"I'm also worried about that" I admitted.

"Why?" Perrie asked confused.

"Luke doesn't know I'm pregnant"
