"What about her?" I ask Jake as we make our way to first period, Algebra. Jake's my best friend, we've been hanging out since fifth grade. He's also a wolf like me.
"She's annoying and clingy" He replied, running his hands on his strawberry blonde hair "Hey you heard about this new girl at school?"
"New girl? but it's already 2nd grading?( A/N: I'm following the school system here in the Philippines just fyi)How come?" I ask.
"No clue" He says, "But I heard she's rich or something. That must be her" I looked to where he was looking and saw that familiar long blonde hair. The girl looked at me and I completely recognized her. Victoria. All eyes were on her as she makes her way towards me.
"Hey" She smiled at me.
"Hey"
"Glad to know you're also studying here. Well I better get going, don't want to be late for first period" She said before walking away from us.
"Dude you know her?" Jake nudged me.
"Yeah, we met a couple of days ago" I replied, watching her small figure fade in the crowd.
"Hey let's get to first period" I say looking at my watch, "Class is about to start" But I can't shake this feeling that I...

"Hey man, see ya" Jake says, making his way to his team mates at baseball. I made my way to my car and stepped inside my car. It's a Lamboghini Aventador my parents gave me when I turned sixteen. They weren't comfortable of me commuting. I understand them anyway. They said that there's this guy who wants to hurt my family... Me. They never told me who... they never even told me how my sister was taken from me.
I sighed, and started the engine of my car and drove out of the school's parking lot. As I drove, a couple of minutes later, I saw Victoria walking down the sidewalk. I pulled the car over and she stopped walking and faced my car. I rolled the window down.
"Let me give you a ride?" I offered.
"No need, my house is just a couple of blocks away"
"It's about to rain" I say looking at the gray sky, "Wouldn't want to get sick now, do we?" She jogged the the other side of my car and I opened the door for her.
"Nice car" She says.
"Lovely isn't she?" I say as I began to drive, "Where do you live?" She told me her address.
"Well what do you know, your house is just a couple of blocks away from mine" I say.
"Really?"
"Yeah" Minutes later she told me to stop the car. This girl is rich. I felt fear from her as she looked at the guy outside with his arms crossed. He was glaring at us and honestly... It fucking scares me.
"I think you should go, He doesn't like it when there are guys around me, thanks for the ride" She says as she steps out of my car. I watched them have a conversation. The guy glared at me which made me start to drive.
Something feels... Wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have left her there. Maybe I should've stayed. Wait--why am I this worried about her?
---
I parked my car in our garage. I stepped out of my car, slinging my bag on my shoulder when a sharp pain came on my ribs. I shut the door of my car and held my rib. What the hell is happening?
"Zac, are you all right?" I turn to see Castiel with a worried look on his face.
"Yeah, yeah" I lied, straightening my posture, "Where's Mom and Dad?" I couldn't help but look at his wings, they were charcoal black, and big,
"They are at a meeting" He replied. I walked pass by him, feeling his wing go through me.
"Why are you always lying to me? Do I have to read your mind?" Castiel says as he follows me from behind me.
"You promised me you won't do that" I say as we both stepped inside our house.
"Yes I did. But you have been lying to me, and you never used to lie"
"I'm fine, Castiel, there's nothing for you to be worried about" I say dropping my bag near the door, making my way to the kitchen for a drink. I took a glass on the cupboard and poured myself a glass of water from the dispenser. I heard the familiar sound of wings fluttering.
"Castiel, it's really nothing" I say. No reply. Weird. I turn to see him looking out the window.
"You okay, Castiel?" I asked him.
"There's something... Wrong..." He traits, "I'm feeling a type of energy... Not a good one"
"Evil?"
"No, I can't tell what it is, I must go to tell your parents. Don't go outside" He says before leaving.
Great. Home alone. Again.
