"Mommy it hurts!" I cried as she cleans the deep scratch on my knee.

"I know it does but he have to clean it, it won't hurt after this, and it won't get infected" She says. She removed the cotton from my wound and blows at it, "Still hurt?" she asked, looking at me.

I shook my head, "No, it doesn't hurt anymore"

"See? You're okay!" She smiled at me. She cupped my cheek with her hand before saying, "I love you, Zachary, don't you ever forget that, all right?"

"I won't Mommy" I smiled at her.

I woke up in a dirty room, no bed, a tiny window near the ceiling, just four walls and a light bulb in the middle of the room. I groaned in pain as I sat up and leaned against the wall. The chains burn my wrists, my wounds hurt, my head hurts. It was hard to breath because of the cut on my rib.

I hear the door open and I looked up to see Mom. She just stared at me blankly. She's dressed in a black dress.

"Mom, you shouldn't be here" My throat felt like it was being rubbed by sand paper.

"Yeah" she smirked, "But you... You should be, this place? This is where you deserve to be" I felt pain in my heart with what she said. She doesn't mean that, does she?

"Mom... You don't mean that...  Stop" A tear slipped my eye as I sobbed.

"I do... I mean every bit of it. You deserve this... All of this. I never loved you and I never will. You're worthless, useless. I only cared about Zoe and your father--"

"Mom please stop!" I begged, my cheeks wet with tears. "Please don't say that!"

"He will never miss you, I will never miss you. You mean nothing to us..."

"Mom... No" I whispered, closing my eyes. This is just Damien messing with your head, non of this is real, this isn't real...

"Stop it, please I'm begging you!" Zoe cried, "Please I'll do whatever you want, just stop hurting him" Damien whispered something at the wolf's ear, the one who was messing with Zachary's mind before turning his gaze to Zoe, who is being held by two wolves. They're in another room, which was separated from Zac's with a two way mirror.

He walked to her and ran the back of his fingers on her cheek, "I gave you everything... I asked you to do one thing--" Then gripped a fistful of her hair, "--But what the hell did you do?"

"I'm sorry" She sobbed, "Just please stop hurting him he has nothing to do with this! I'm begging you! Do whatever you want to do with me, just please..."

"Why would I do that? You see... I'm just getting started, and I'm going to make sure before they find you and your twin, one is going to be a mess they will never be able to fix. Drag her back in the dungeon" He says as he let go of her hair. The two wolves pulled her roughly out of the room as she desperately cried to make Damien stop tormenting her twin. He looked back at the boy in the mirror feeling no remorse on whatsoever.

"Give him hell" He says to the wolf messing with Zac's mind before walking out of the room. He walked at the halls and but stopped when his eyes landed on his parents' portrait.

He smirked to himself, "I told you both you were going to regret this, I guess you should've listened, maybe if you did... you'd still be breathing" His eyes turned black as the as he called one of his servants to burn to the portrait.

He made his way down to the dungeon and opened a cell. He looked down at a girl who was in the corner of the room, looking at him in fear.

"I have a surprise for you, c'mere" He says with a gentle smile, but the girl knew better. She shook her head, backing away from him. She felt her back hit the dirty, cold wall. His black eyes glared at her, eyeing her soul.

"What do you want from me?" She asked, her voice shaky, "I'm just a nobody"

"Either you come here or I will drag you and trust me when I say that it won't be a pleasant experience" He threatened. She slowly walked towards him.

"Atta girl!" He says as he grip her arm and pulls her roughly out of the room.

"Where are you taking me?" She asks as she tries to follow his pace.

"Oh you'll see" He ordered someone to open another dungeon, he stepped inside and showed her. The girl stood there in shock, her eyes wide. Zoe was chained on a wall, her face swollen, and drops of her blood on the floor.

"Now you either tell me where that artifact is, or that's going to be you in a couple of minutes"

"I already told you" A tear slipped her eye, "Someone took it from me, I--I don't know where it is" His grip her arm tightened which made her wince.

"Who did?"

"I don't know, a man in his forties, tall, dark hair, blue eyes, that's all I remember I swear!"
