Old memories flashed back in my mind as she stares at me with her hand on my cheek. When I first found out I was pregnant, Luke's smile--which shattered my heart--The war, Everything. I could see fear in her eyes as she remove her hand from me.
"Sweetheart it's okay" I mumbled, "Mommy's here and I'm going to make sure that you and your brother will always be safe, I'm not going to let anything happen to any of you"
"Coreen? Anything wrong?" Perrie asked me.
"I--I just remembered something I had to do" I replied, hoping she knew what I meant.
"Oh... Well... I'll just go then" She replied, placing Zoe back where she was before.(Sorry, I'm just not really not that familiar with baby stuff.)"But I'll be back next time" She smiled, "And I will not care if you're busy or not" She joked.
"Sure" I replied, "Victor please escort Perrie to her car" I say, "You're welcome" I told Perrie before she left. One of the maids helped me with my kids as we make our way upstairs. I placed Zoe and Zac in the crib and both fed them with milk so they would sleep. I looked at the window and noticed that the sky's gray. Patrollers were walking around, guarding the place.
"Hello Coreen" I turned my head to Aiden. He's wearing a leather jacket. He looked different, a bit older, but the stubble on his face is gone.
"What are you doing here?" I told him.
"I came here to tell you something--"
"Leave Aiden, I'm not in the mood" I cut him off.
"Even if it's about Luke?"
"What about Luke?" I narrowed my eyes at him, still suspicious about him. I still don't trust the man.
"He's not in a coma Coreen, your mates cursed, a sleep spell"
"What so this is now some snow white bullshit?" I scoffed. I rarely cussed so I was a bit shocked with myself.
"No. You need to find my brother and get him to get rid of the spell"
"Are you--ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" I nearly yelled but I remembered my kids were sleeping. "Do you have any idea what your psychotic brother wants? He wants one of my kids! And now I bet he knows I have twins so he'll want them both! There is no way in hell I will go anywhere near that man! Who knows what he'll do to my kids!"
"We need to find him soon! If you want your kids to live a normal life, if you want to live a normal life" He says.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"He's looking for something strong and powerful, an orb so powerful it can make the entire world bow down to him"
"What orb?" I asked.
"Mystic orb" The mystic orb goes back to millions of years ago. It was said that this orb is so powerful in can create life but if it falls in the wrong hands it can cause the apocalypse. It was said to be thrown by the spirits in the deepest part of the ocean so no one could ever touch it. It is a very powerful material.
"That? That's only a myth Aiden--"
"How sure are you? It's not, it's hidden within one of the deepest trenches in the world" He says.
"Why are you worried? The Mariana's trench is eleven thousand meters deep it is impossible for him to get it"
"Nothing is impossible for my brother, if he wants something he gets it, we need to stop him now before it's too late"
