I kept my eyes peeled outside, waiting for Castiel to appear behind me just like he used to. Don't get me wrong, I don't think of him that way, I'm just used to him not being around me. It's been days, I haven't talked to Dad, I don't know if he's still okay or not.
"You look stressed, what's the matter?" I looked beside me to see Castiel.
"Cas, you're okay" I say.
He frowned at me, "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"
"You had me worried! You can't just pop up then disappear the next! What did you do?"
"I--I just took care of a few things back at heaven. Where is your mom and sister? Have you drawn all the symbols I gave you?"
"Yeah, they're done" I replied.
"Zac, there's something I have to tell you, you must promise me that you will not tell this to anyone" He says.
I nod, "Sure Cas, what is it?"
"I need you to hide this" He hands me a box, " I want you to hide this"
"What's in the box, Castiel?" I asked.
"It's an important artifact. I'm guessing Damien is all ready looking for it, so you have to make sure that he cannot find it, or his minions. Protect it, please" He says.
"Okay, I'll try my best to make sure it's hidden from him" I promised.
"Good" I noticed that the feathers of his wings are falling.
"Cas, your wings" I say worried.
"It--It's nothing, just make sure that the artifact in that box is safe. Where's your Mother?"
"At the living room. What's happening?" I say as I look at the sky, the clouds were closing in fast, unusually fast. Castiel pulled my arm roughly and pushed me inside and shut the door.
"Castiel!" I yelled. I tried to open the glass door but it won't budge.
"Go to your mother and sister! Now!" He yells. I did what he told and went downstairs to the livng room were Mom and Zoe are.
"What are you holding?" Zoe asks.
"An artifact Castiel told me to hide"
"What is happening?" Mom asked worried.
"He's close" Zoe said, "He knows where we are"
