It's been a week now and me and Molly already fit in perfectly, our group is back together but their seems tension between Jake and Will, only a little bit of tension but it is there. Aubrey never really talks to Tina anymore, they only speak in gym class together but Aubrey admitted she is a bitch. I had drama yesterday what was the best thing ever! Me, Jake, Aubrey, Will all take drama, me, Jake and Aubrey all love drama. I think Will only does it as he had to because his mum probably made him. Wills mum works in the theatre in Edison town, she has been in loads. She used to get us free tickets. Sadly Tina also does drama with us. Her time in the class in spent trying to get with Will but surprisingly he doesn't act on it or even flirt with her. So she flirts with other guys.
Tuesday morning and I am not my way to my first class, music and I take a quick glance at the notice board to see audition sign up sheets. The leaflet next to it reads:
I, Mr Alfred and my good friend James Humphrey are pleased to announce we are putting on a school production. Me and Mr Humphrey have written a play over the holiday and we want you to preform it. The play is about a married couple who have two children. This couple is have a horrible relationship as the husband is abusive to his wife and children. Watch these character and learn to love and hate them throughout the play.

Auditions will be held in the auditorium on Thursday. Put your name down in the sheet and what character you are auditioning for. If your character sings a solo/duet them you must pick a song of your choosing to sing.

I write my name down and I am auditioning for Claire. I miss singing so much, this could be my chance again. Out the corner of my eye Jake approaches me, smiling. "What's up? You should get a lift with me for now on, I live opposite you." He glances at the audition sign up sheet and he snatches the pen of me. He write his name down Jake Anderson audition for Samuel. Then he hands my pen back as we walk to music.
Yes lunch! I can be with all my friends at once. On my way I check who else has signed up. I see Aubrey has signed up and about 15 over people. Wow. Then write at the bottom I see Tina, Tina Green, queen slut. Why? But then I had the best idea I run over to the lunch hall, literally. When I arrive our normal group of friends is sat around our table. "Hey! I have the best idea." I pant out somehow.
"What is it Lilly?" Aubrey asks
"We should all join up for the school production."
"What no." Will answers.
"OMG YES." Aubrey says jumping out of her seat. "It will be the last play we do together." I pout with puppy eyes. Then everyone is up leaving me, Aubrey and Jake at the table. But soon after I follow, I follow them all the way to the sign up sheets what puts a huge grin on face.
I spent my Tuesday night and Wednesday night preparing my song and my free period on Wednesday. And my double music lesson Today. Today. Audition day. Or known as Thursday. Everyone waits in the auditorium until you are called. After about twenty people I am called. Jake, Will, Aubrey and Jasmine have been called and they said the audition was in a practise room, and it will be fine. As seniors we have more of a chance getting the parts what is good. I stood up and walked to the practise room one. Sat in there was Mr Alfred and Mr Humphrey. "Hello Lilly." Mr Alfred smiles. "Hello." I say back. My hands are sweating at this point. "So what have you chosen to sing?"Mr Alfred asks, taking notes.
"How will I know who you are by Jessica Flocker."
"Why that song?" My Humphrey asks "I thought it is a unusual song and it can express my voice well." "OK when you are ready." And the words begin coming out my mouth perfectly, it is just like I had practised. I was amazing. I was ready. I wanted this. I wanted to be a singer.
