Chapter 15-Singing together

I pretty much know my all my lines for the play. I practise them every chance I get. Me and Will practise when I go round his. He never comes round mine, I don't want my dad knowing about us. He doesn't approve of dating. He thinks everyone should be with one person their whole lives and your parents should help you find this person. Mum and dad were in love with each other at a young age, so it worked out when it was time for them to get married. It has been four weeks since since Will called me his girlfriend and I called him my boyfriend. We spend a lot of time together. I see Jake so much and Aubrey. Aubrey has still not asked Jake about but she told me at the start of rehearsals that she will do it tomorrow at break.

Rehearsals today where a bit more stressful as one kid Sam Shafto kept messing up his lines. We have to know all our lines after Halloween break. No problem for me. Dad was on another business trip and mum was Visiting her sister in Wales, so she will be gone for a few days. Molly was staying at Jasmines so I was staying at Jake's house. His mum is so welcoming, she cooks the best meals. Everyday she rents a different movie for us to watch. Jake's mum is more of a mum to me then my own sometimes. She keeps insisting I call her by her first name, April, but I have brought up to never call a adult by their first name. So to me she is Ms Anderson. She is going out tonight with her friends so that means no rented movie. So me and Jake go upstairs.
Jake picks up his guitar and starts plucking to 'Hey there Delilah'and I begins to sing along, the whole song. Just like when we were kids.

When we finish he puts his guitar back in its case thing and pushes me in the bed and starts tickling me. "Stop!" I scream out in laughter.
"I have missed this." He says and stops. Sitting on the bed I sit up next to him.
"Me too. Well I'm going to get changed into my pjs. We both change, well he just takes his clothes of leaving him in his boxers. We climb into his king size bed, he switches the light off. "Night Lil."
"Night Jake."

The next day I was on my way to my locker, walking through the corridor before first period. Aubrey joins us. "Hi guys," she says                                                                                                                         "Hi." We all reply in sink.                                                                                                                                                     "Jake can we talk?" She asks. Before I knew it I was pushed into the lockers into a deep kiss. Will was pressing me up agents the lockers as my hands wrapped around is his face. I heard someone whistle so Will pulled away and shoved the boy, hard. He was on the team with Will. The bell rang and Will gave me a kiss goodbye and I headed to music with Jake.

*Jake's POV*
As Will pushed her up agents the locker I had to look away to avoid vomiting. "So Aubrey what's up?"
"Well I was wondering if, well um. You would want to um have dinner with me um on Friday night?" She stutters. She is never this shy.
"As a date?" I ask puzzled. She was pretty and popular. Why would she want to date me
"Yep." I instantly saying looking at Lil and Will.  
"OK, I will pick you up at eight, we can go to the Apple." With that the bell rings and me and Lil walk down to music. Maybe dating Aubrey will help me get over Lil. Aubrey is really nice, pretty funny, fun to be with. All amazing qualities. But she is not Lil.
