Chapter 19- Christmas surprises

CHRISTMAS!! I am on Christmas break and I am am so excited. It is snowing tonight. The night before Christmas eve. I am watching Christmas Carol with Molly in my bed. Will is away this Holiday as he is visiting family in Georgia. This Christmas he was going to come over and meet my family, but I guess not. Jake, Megan and their mum are coming over for Christmas. Even though they love opposite they are sleeping here Christmas eve so we can all wake up together on Christmas morning.

I am like a child with Christmas I get way to excited. Christmas eve, we all sit down and watch a movie on the sofa with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Once the movie is over we head of to bed.

This Christmas eve is spent getting ready for our guests. Mum and Ms Anderson are cooking Christmas Lunch tomorrow, I am making pancakes. Tonight we have just got pizza. Ham and Pineapple! Also just Marguerite. Me, Jake and Megan are in my room, we are probably going to be joined by Molly., and Ms Anderson has guest room one. Me and mum make the beds, get that bathrooms ready and make sure the DVD player is working. They are meant to get here at six pm so we put the Pizza's on ten minuets before. They arrive on the dot and hugs are spread around. Five minuets with them being here the pizza's are ready mum puts them on the dinning room table. Ms Anderson, mum, Megan and Molly sit on the sofa, dad in his chair and me and Jake sat on pillows on the floor. Laughter feels the room and dad actually joins in. But he likes Christmas. After me and Jake clear up the dishes and prepare the hot chocolate and marshmallows. When we arrive mum is fiddling with the DVD player asking Molly for help. We all sit on the Sofa, well dad in his chair and, I get a blanket and put is over us. I give dad a small bowl of Marshmallows and we have a big bowl to share. This is the best Christmas eve ever.

Once the movie ends Molly is fast asleep and Jake is dozing off. I spring up to go prepare the air bed for Megan. Once I have done that we all say our goodnight's and dash off to bed Megan changes in my bathroom and I change in bathroom two. Once changed I go into my room and Molly is sat in my bed. I shake my head and climb in next to her and Jake climbs in next to me. Megan under the covers on the air bed. Jake switches out the light and for an hour we talk about a load of rubbish about school. Then slowly, one by one we fall asleep.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS WAKE UP!" I shout shaking Molly and Jake. Everyone groans but I yank Molly and Jake out of bed then Megan. "It is only  eight am!" Megan shouts at me, but I just smile and put my dressing gown and slippers, Molly goes to her room and does the same. Jake puts on his Pyjamas. We go downstairs and everyone else is already down. I sit down next to the Christmas tree and soon everyone joins us. Mum brings in a pot of tea and mugs what we all help ourselves to it. We all begin opening our presents.

Me and Molly got money from grandparents and aunties and uncles. Mum and dad got Megan and Jake money and Ms Anderson got me and Molly money. Mum and dad got me some pyjamas, a dress and chocolates, also a new I phone! A I phone six something. Molly gets the same. Jake gets from his mum slippers and and sweets, and Megan gets from her mum a phone case and a bag. I got mum the suffragette movie and dad a book about politicians. Molly gets them both mugs. Jack got his mum some chocolates. Megan got her mum a book. I got Molly some jeans and a bracelet, and she got me a Now that's what I call music CD, some make up and shoes. Megan got me a dress and I got her a handbag. Megan got Molly two scarf's, and Molly got her a memories box. Jake got Molly a book and some different type of hot chocolate, then Molly got Jake a guitar case. I got Jake a guitar strap and a photo of us, he is giving me a piggy back. That is our traditional photo we also use that pose. The photo was taken at his birthday when we went site seeing.

There are three presents left all with my name on. Jake hands me the first one, it is chocolate. The second present was a photo frame of Jake birthday,of all of us. He passes me the third one with a big smile on his face. I unwrap it and got all sad, not like sad sad, a good sad. "What is it honey?" Mum asks sipping her tea. I hold up my present and silent feels the room. It is the best present I have ever gad. It is a red dress. Exactly the same as the one I had, just it would fit me. "I have a cousin who makes clothes and I got her to make this for you." I burst into tears and jump into him, hugging him. I could not stop. "I love it, thank you so much. Suddenly he lets go of me and runs upstairs, he comes back down seconds later holding his guitar. He begins to play Red dress, our song and I sing along, tears clinging onto my face. This is the best Christmas. I can not believe he would do this for me.
