Chapter 5

"She’s” I shrugged, nonchalantly," A friend of mine."

"What’s her name?"He asked.

"Um..."I said, “Niña."

"Well maybe Nina can meet me sometime when she comes back home?"He asked.

"No she can’t” I said steely.

"Why not?"He said, with indifference.

Because she damn well isn't his sister! I screamed in my head.

"Because she doesn't stay here” I answered.

"I can see that!" He said irritated now.

"Good! So you now get your ass outta my porch!"I said.

"Nina's porch!" He demanded.

"Get out!"I snapped.

"Wont!"

"You-"I pointed a finger at him, momentarily forgetting about the door which fell ajar, “are one-"

"OUCH!"I screamed.

As I opened my eyes I saw Johnny Storm sprawled all over me in my house.

"Sorry pumpkin” he said winking and got up.

"How dare you!?"I shrieked, getting up, my hands flying out to push him out of the house.

"There wasn't any other way!"He shouted back at me, holding my hands in a firm grip.

"Damn you!"I said trying to break free my arms.

"To hell I hope?" He answered grinning.

God I wish I could freeze his sorry ass!

"To the most dammed pits of tartarus!"I shrieked back.

"I-"His reply was cut short as we both froze (figuratively) as a loud crash reverberated throughout the house.

Our eyes met and the next moment we both sprinted upstairs.

Shit! The noise came from Vic's side of the house... 

Holy lord!

I thought as I stood frozen on the entrance.

"Ria?"Johnny asked looking back at me,

"I...uh-" I searched for a good excuse to not take the blame about the thing that is upstairs.

But the next crash had me (and Johnny) running back up.

"Shit!" Johnny cursed.

He won't be there! He won't be there! He won't be there! I chanted as I made my way up too, only to stop breathing all together as I saw the whole place blown up.

Wtf?!

Just yesterday everything was fine and good, I mean as good and fine as it could get.

Now it was all black, all down to ashes.

Ashes!

Except one thing.

The black mask.

"What was in here?" Johnny breathed out as I made my way to the mask.

I gasped sparks again flew from it as I caressed it.

"What's that?"

"I... dunno" I said honestly.

"Is there a light here?"Johnny asked.

"Yeah"I whispered, I lifted my hand pointing out to it. And the lights came on that very second.
