Chapter 6

"Burn it" I screamed as I heard the frost breaking on the snake.

"Now!"

And then it blasted to pieces only to have itself burned to ashes.

"Fuck! That was stupid!" I said.

"Stupid?" Johnny said facing me.

"Yeah!" I said," You have slow reflexes!" 

"Speaking of reflexes!" Johnny said, “It’s pretty entertaining that yours is freezing people"

"Yeah frozen  asses is totally my thing!" I said sarcastically.

"Am serious Ria" he said, his tone warning me to dare.

“Oh? Well am Ria!" I said sticking my hand out, “Nice meeting you Serious"

"Seriously!" He screamed.

"Seriously Serious!" I said, laughing out at my own joke.

Yeah I am so hilarious.

And nervous.

And when I am nervous...

Let's just say I might turn into a bad Russell Peters or a very bad Pop singer...

"What was that?!" Johnny screamed.

"Geez! Don't scream!" I shrieked back, “I am scared enough!"

"What did you say?" Johnny asked.

"What did a teapot say to its lover?" I asked him, trying to dodge  The question by cracking a very stupid joke.

"Ria don't be scared okay?" Johnny said.

"Wait let-" 

"It's gonna be okay," Johnny said cutting me off," Just tell me what exactly happened"

"The tea pot said-"

"Your powers," Johnny said, cutting me off again.

I sighed.

" Why don't you sit down” he suggested.

"No!" I said, throwing my hands up.

"Yes!" He insisted.

"Geez! Can’t a girl have a minute?" I muttered.

"You could if you were a girl!" He said lowly, I don't think I was supposed to hear it, but I did and boy was he in trouble!

"You didn't" I said narrowing my eyes at him, all the nervousness turning to anger in a second.

"Oh Maybe I did!" He said, raising his voice.

"If you think that behavior is gonna get you any answers, buddy aren’t you wrong!" I said, selfconsciously.

"You talk like you have an option" he said, smirking.

"Of course I do!" I replied.

"May I-"

"So you are America's favorite fire dancer" I said, nonchalantly," That doesn’t mean anything to me"

"I am not a fire dancer” He scoffed.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night” I said, spinning on my heel and walking out.

Stupid moron

“Ria!”Johnny called, running out of the room towards me.

“What?”I said, spinning around to face him.

“Look I’m here to help” He said, a frown marring his features.

“Could have fooled me” I said, my gaze dropping down to examine my nails.
