I knocked on Cat and Vanessa's door to wake them up...or so I thought. When the door opened Cat had her hair and makeup done with no redness in her eyes. Guess they got up before me.

"Uh, good morning. We're about to go downstairs and eat, then do you guys wanna go exploring?" I asked Cat.

"Mhmm. You guys go eat, we already did, see ya, bye!"

She closed the door abruptly and it made me wonder what was going on on the other side of it. I met the guys downstairs and we ate random fruits that were in a glass bowl at the check in desk. All the mom's were sitting out by the pool, not in swim suits or anything, just sitting at the small round tables talking and laughing loudly.

"Man at the next hotel we gotta go swimming." Mario said, sad we wouldn't have a chance to today.

"Yeah, we do." Jovani agreed.

"So what's up with you and Vanessa?" Julian asked.

"Yeah!" Mario added. "Are you guys a thing?"

My voice was more aggressive than I wanted it to be. "No."

"Oh." Julian smirked. "Well she's hot as hell."

I knew he just wanted to see my reaction so I laughed and shoved him off the couch we sat on. "Shut up bro!"

"Is she really staying the whole tour?" Mario asked me.

"Yup." I smiled.

"Good, cuz Cat needs some female company." He joked. "On the last tour she stayed up one night with me for an hour talking about some boy she likes at school. Like I wanna sit around talking about boys."

"Hey, if that's what you're into." Julian joked.

And once again he was pushed off the couch. "Shut up Julian." Mario told him.

The man behind the check in desk cleared his throat and it echoed throughout the empty room.

"Sorry sir!" Mario yelled.

I swore under my breath and shook my head. Mario is an idiot.

"Lets go before we get kicked out." Jovani suggested.

We went to get our moms and Mario went to get Vanessa and Cat. About 2 minutes Mario canr back down without the girls.

"Uh Mario...did you forget why you went upstairs?" Jovani laughed.

"No. They're coming right now, they were putting on their shoes and I didn't wanna wait." Mario paused and looked at me. "But wait until you see Vanessa."

"Huh?" I asked, feeling my eyebrows furrow.

A few seconds later I heard the elevator door opened and Cat and Vanessa appeared. Vanessa's dark brown wavy hair was straightened, with the top half in a ponytail like Ariana Grande. Only when they got closer did I notice the eyeliner...I think its called cat eyes or something. She was also wearing a light pink lipstick.

Just then, our mom's came over to us. "Ready to go guys?" Mrs.Jara asked.

"Yup." Julian said.

"Well, don't you girls look amazing." Ms. Selman told them both.

"Thank you." Cat said, bowing. "It took forever to get her to agree, but I'm happy with the outcome."

Vanessa sounded nervous. "Ok. We should go now."

We walked outside to a waiting cab and took a drive to time square. Vanessa was wearing a black tank top under a blue flannel, some white jeans, and black sandles. The makeup and her hair looked great, I admit, but still, I preferred her without it.

"You look amazing, as always." I told her when we got out of the car.

"Thanks Geo." She replied.

I internally winced. I don't want her to call me Geo...I want her to call me "Juwany" or "Wany" like when were kids. There's something about the way she says my name that makes me feel fuzzy inside. But not when she says "Geo."
