Chapter 10

McKenzy's POV

"That shit is beyond crazy Ken like are you serious, she really tried to come for you infront of everybody"Jace said laying on my bed.

"Yes I was so fucking embarassed everyone was just staring at us with shocked faces. How did she find about all that shit"I said confused as to how she knew those things about me. I know people talk but the only people I had told about the situation were my parents, Jace, Kendrick, and Shawn his self.

"Do you think Shawn told anyone"

"I don't know I don't think that he would"I said flipping through the channels on tv.

"Well that bitch just lucky I wasn't there cause I would've popped her in her damn mouth"

"For somebody with a baby she sure found time to show up at her ex boyfriends house unexpected to try and intimadate me out of all people"

"Come on be real your the new girlfriend that took her place so she's jealous and fucking bitter"she said looking down at her phone.

"She was the one that fucked up the relationship with her hoe ass. I just can't believe that she stooped that low though like that shit was fucked up to the highest point"I said hearing my mom come in the house.

"Hey bunny and Jace what yall up to"she asked as she came in sitting in my desk chair.

"Nothing talking bout what happened at the party last night"Jace as she shook her head.

"That's so sad and wasn't it your first time meeting them too?"she asked.

"Yeah and that's what makes everything 10x worst. I can never my face in their house ever again"I said as I felt like I wanted to bursrt into tears.

"You can't do that first you live directly across the street and if you don't go they're going to think that your weak and your far from that. Everyone isn't as compassion and considerate as you. Your strong a young woman that's been through some shit. Now its your choice to run from it or accept it and move on to be better"she said.

"How the hell am I supposed to move on from something like this? Honestly, I've been scarred for the rest of my life. I had my innocence ripped away from me and I can never get that back. Kendrick probably thinks I'm crazy as hell and broken. I walk around everyday smiling and laughing, but I'm bleeding inside from the broken pieces cutting away at me every time I think about it. I feel weak and so exposed. People see me and think I'm pretty and just have everything together. I feel alone and lost"I said as the tears flowed down my face and I felt myself began to shake. My mom and Jace got up coming over to me hugging me tightly as I cried my eyes out.

"Bunny your definitely not alone. You have family that love you more than anything"

"And a bomb ass bestfriend that will kill for you girl"Jace said making me laugh. We all chuckled hugging more and wiping my tears.

"And a strong young man by your side that wants to help and grow with you"my mom said as I laughed. "So stop avoiding him he asked if you were home when I pulled in the driveway and I said yes and he said that Jace told him you weren't home which didn't make any sense"she said walking away to her room.

"I told you he wouldn't believe it dumbass"I said as I threw my pillow at her head.

"Stop hoe"she said throwing it back. "I'm bout to head home I gotta work later"

"Okay I'll walk you down cause I can see Ken sitting on his porch throught my window"

"Yeah you love birds need to talk. I know your embarrassed but don't be he going to see you at your worst its apart of relationships. He just has to learn to accept that and most importantly you have to accept the fact that your not perfect and you have scars that he is starting to see"she said as we walked towards her car. "I wish you all the best my bunny"she said hugging me and getting in the car.

"I know girl now gone head cause you know you always late and shit"I said as she pulled out the driveway and honked before speeding down the road. She drove fast for no reason with her heavy foot ass. The police are gonna catch her ass one day. I looked over seeing Ken walking towards me. I couldn't help the nervousness that creped up my spine. I swallowed the lump in my throat as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I must admit home boy smelled like heaven and had the best hugs on the planet.

"Hey baby"he said as he kissed my cheek.

"Wassup"I said looking down at the slippers on my feet.

"I really am sorry bout what happened yesterday at the party"he said looking down at my slippers.

"It's cool, it wasn't your fault. You didn't know that was going to happen"

"I didn't but I'm not gonna let anybody disrespect you like that. You my girl and its my job to protect you and not let no wack bitches talk down about you"he said looking deep into my eyes. I smiled at him grabbing his hands intertwining our fingers.

"I understand what your saying baby and I'm sorry for ignoring you that was beyond childish"I said with a chuckle as he pulled me closer to him by my waist letting his hands travel down to my butt and giving it a squeeze.

"Yeah and don't let it happen again lil girl"he said biting his lip before he smashed his lips into mines.

"Do you want to come over for a little while"I said as the grin on his face grew showcasing his dimples. He shook his head so I grabbed his hand walking back to my house. Once inside we went upstairs while I went to my room, Ken went off to my mom's room to speak to her. I was happy to squash the tension between us or mostly me.

       I decided it would be cool to go downstairs to the bug TV and watch a movie together and eat some junk food. Going to the kitchen I pulled out a bag of flammin' hot popcorn and a big bowl. I got us a bottle of powerade for each of us to drink. we had snacks stashed you wouldn't it. Grabbing some chocolate, skittles, and lifesavers I went back to the living room. Sitting on the couch I put my feet up going to the movie channels. They had so many movies I couldn't decide what I wanted to see. Waiting for Ken to come back downstairs I went to my phone going through twitter and instagram. Liking some things I decided to post a picture of all my snacks posting it.

"What you doing"Ken said jogging down the stairs nearly scaring the shit out of me.

"On instagram nigga what you smiling so hard for did my mama tell you something embarassing about me"I asked giving him a funny look.

"What we talked bout is between us stop being so nosey lil girl"he said plopping down next to me on the couch. I just shook my head at his silly self.

"So what do you want to watch"I said looking over at him. He grabbed the remote from my hands scrolling down looking through the movies. After a couple minutes he came to a stop at the new Robocop movie. I had never seen it so I decided why not watch it . He selected the movie as I poured the bag of popcorn into the bowl for us to share as he went straight for the skittles. Watching the opening previews, I could feel Ken staring at me and it kinda made me feel uncomfortable. "Do I have something on my face"

"Yeah a pair of beautiful eyes, a small cute nose, some sweet sexy ass lips that I really wanna kiss right now"he said as his eyes traveled down to my lips and back up to my eyes.

"Oh really huh"

"Yea babygirl"he said as he leaned in to kiss me making everything around us fade away.
