Everyone loses the ability to see colour when they turn five, some kids freak out and some are relieved to be like everyone else, and sometimes a kid never loses the ability to lose colour, because when you begin to fall in love with your soulmate, the colour begins to return to the world around you, lighting it back up beautifully to the way it once was until your soulmate dies, then the colour leaves your life once more
