Missing two days of school felt like a liftime

This morning I couldn't stop crying because I'm living in the house where my mother and brother has been taken

And last night I found out my step dad is a goon, takes care of the dirty work

I rolled my eyes at that.. I just really miss them

"What are you thinking about?" Fred asked me as we drove to school

"Last night...and how much I miss my mom and bro" he placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed slightly

"Don't worry"

"How can I not worry? What if they're dead!!? What if my step dad comes to the house and finish me off?"

"They're not dead, and if your feeling unsafe in your house you could always stay over my place"

I smiled "I would love that"

He parked the car "alright.. Let's get through this day and find Jax"

Lunch time arrived and I knew that meant finding Jax and getting answers

When I walked in the cafeteria I saw Olivia, Jay and Kyle sitting at our usually table and I smiled, the squad is back together

But then I realized Fred's friends are waving me over to sit down

I looked at the two tables and then Blu walked up to me "hey, aren't you gonna sit with us?"

I looked over at my friends and they looked confused

"Umm.. yeh I'll be there in a sec" Blu smiled then waked away

"Hey guys.." I sat down

"Who was that girl?" Jay asked and I rolled my eyes

"Fred's friend.. they wanted me to sit with them"

"Oh..."

Carly came over and sat next to Jay "why is she over here?..." She failed to whisper

"Why are you over here?" I asked because the last time we talked was at her dads huge mansion party

"Jay is my girlfriend..."

I gasped "really?" I coughed " all thanks to me"

We laughed and Fred sat down next to me

"Jax isn't here"

"What?!"

"I didn't see him in class today and now he's not at lunch"

"Jax?" Carly asked

"Babe you wouldn't know him" Jay said and we all agreed

"I think I heard of his name before.."

"You probably had class with him" Kyle said

"Doubt it Carly's a freshman" Jay stated

"Any way.. I'm gonna text him and then well go to his house later.."

I nodded my head "alright"

Fred kissed me and sat real close "bae I think you should sit with your friends today" I whispered

"Huh... Why?"

"Because they want me to sit with them but I'm with my friends"

He smiled

"Why are you smiling?"

"I have a great idea let's combine tables"

"Why are you two whispering?" Olivia asked me and Fred

Fred ran over to his friends

"Say hi to your new friends" I said and they looked confused

"What new friends?" Jay said and I pointed to Fred's gang

"Noo" Carly said and I rolled my eyes

"To late" Kyle said as they came over to the table 

I cleared my throat "Kyle. Jay. Olivia. Carly." I pointed to them "these are Fred's friends Blu, Brian, Andrew.. And Jax who is not here"

Blu hugged everyone "I love meeting new people"

Me and Fred walked to Jax's house

"Babe... Did you call him to make sure he's home?" I asked as we stepped foot on his property

"Yes, he didn't pick up but.. I'm pretty sure he's here"

I scrunched my nose, I guess I'll believe him

Fred opened the door and I stopped him

"Your not gonna ring the doorbell?, you can't just walk into his house"

"He's my best friend..."

I hesitantly walked beside Fred as we walked upstairs to his bedroom

"What are y'all doing?" Jax said catching both of us off guard

"Yo Jax... Where were you today?"

He shrugged his shoulder  "uh home, I overslept so I stayed home and smoked some weed"

"Well we have some questions for you"

He looked at me then Fred "this can't wait till tomorrow?" He asked

"Not really, it'll only take a second"

We went into his room "shoot"

"Its a long story but remember that big guy you was talking to at the strip club diamonds"

"Yeh?"

"I recently found out that my step father works for him or knows him at least."

"Sooo?"

"So, how can I contact him? He kidnapped my mom and little brother and the cops aren't doing shit"

Jax stood up "I can't help you with that, it's classified... If I tell you, that's risking my life because he will come after me"

"Oh please, we won't tell him you told us obviously" I said

Jax looked at Fred then me

"I'm sorry I can't--"

"Jax come on, we know how he looks, we saw him at the motel with her dad smacking people around, we just need to some how contact him or tell us where he fucking lives... If your my friend you'll tell us"

"Fine!" He wrote something on his phone a few seconds later, Fred got a text

"That's his address, do what you got to do"

"Thanks" me and Fred said then we left Jax's house
