Girls ! Calls Uncle Webber . Both Mandy and Lilly are quick in their stilettos , but I have a little trouble getting down the stairs .
All the blood leaves my face , the house is flooded with men and women . There is loud country club music blaring through the speakers . I try to be more like Mandy and Lilly and smile when people greet me.
I observe my surroundings , there's people taking shots , people smoking marijuana and people snorting things I have never seen before. I spot my Uncle Webber I decide to go over to him . Unc- he cuts me off before I get to finish . He pulls to the side and around a corner . You look Hot , he says drunkenly smiling at me . I would have been offended but I remembered how Daddy used to say things he didn't mean when he got drunk.
His face turns serious . Don't you ever call me Uncle in front of our guest he says . I grow startled by the turn of events . Alright, I say . Mandy ! He yells drunkenly .
Mandy is in front of Uncle Webber in the blink of an eye . Teach this Newbie some shit . He waves his hand , taking a sip of his beer as he walks off . Mandy looks at me shaking her head in disapproval . She hands me her cup she is drinking out of. Take a sip, she says .
I do as I'm told . I don't want too anger Mandy . There , she says . You should start too feel relaxed soon . I nod . I'm a bit worried that there was a little more than liquor and punch in my cup.
I spot Lilly over in a corner making out with some man . I shake my head in disgust . Mandy comes back over to me . You feel better? she ask. I just nod my head yea . Why is Lily to fueling down that man ?I ask .
She's trying to get as much coins as possible tonight , says Mandy sipping her drink. Why ? I ask . Cause , how else we going. To leave this awful town , She says looking at me like I have no head .
You should too , she says . I shake my head . I'm never doing that , I say . Well , your good ole mama wouldn't want you stuck in this town ,would she? She says . No , I say in sudden realization.
Okay , than you have to make a living and get away from here. So you get money by kissing man ? I ask.
No silly , you sleep with them and they pay you , she says laughing .
I shudder at the mention of those words . Let me help you , she says smiling . I can get you somebody young . I nod , and she leads me into the kitchen full of passed out drunks and dancing people .
We stop at the table in front of this handsome guy . Henry ! Mandy shouts . He looks up. Gah damnit Mandy , I can hear yah says Henry .
Mandy laughs . This is my good ole friend Hope she is staying with us for a while . She wants to know if you would like to have a good time , she shouts .
Henry's attention turns towards me . He smiles , flashing his perfect white teeth.
