"She has certainly forgotten who you are, brother", Lucifer tormented him from behind his bars. He leaned against it casually like he was contemplating what to eat next. "That is such a pity, especially for you. It took you how long to find her? Then to lose her again..."

Michael didn't respond but instead, he looked down to stare at his feet. He knew Lucifer was trying to taunt him but even then, the effect was having a toll on him. His heart slowly broke with every minute that Seraphina was with Lucifer.

"My love, I am glad you are here", Lucifer called and Michael looked up to see Seraphina gliding towards Lucifer in a sheer white gown; almost see-through. Michael saw his brother's eyes darken with lust and insane jealousy engulfed him forcefully that Michael wanted to rip out Lucifer's heart. Lucifer held out a hand to her, which she accepted before he pulled her into his arms. He held her from behind with an arm around her waist and a hand that rigidly held up her chin.

For a moment, Michael saw displeasure in the twitch of her lips and the darkening of her emerald eyes but her muscles were remarkably relaxed and comfortable.

"Tell me my love, do you recognise him from anywhere?" Lucifer whispered in her ears, before seductively licking them and sucking on the ends.

Seraphina paused to give the effect that she was thinking and slightly confused from the question before she replied, "No".

"He was the Archangel Michael", Lucifer commented and this time, Seraphina did not respond. "The greatest of them all"

"I find that hard to believe", she added, which made Lucifer smirk madly.

"Oh yes, believe it. Father valued him more than any of us."

"You had one job and one job only; parent Seraphina NOT train her into a killing, commanding soldier", Aphrodite threw at Raphael when they were finally left alone. "Now, your crazed brother has her in his possession without a sense of right or wrong."

Then to herself, she said, "Men! Useless!"

"You're forgetting that she's also quite powerful", added Hades casually. "Not to mention that ALL the Halflings are soldiers. How remarkable!"

Hades then turned to Raphael, "Not at least a cherub amongst them?"

Aphrodite threw the dark lord a dark glare before she flicked her hand, which made Hades laugh and say, "I'm glad that your powers do not work here. That's the first time I'm ever glad that Lucifer is smarter than me."

"They had remarkable powers", explained Raphael patiently. "We had to train them to control it and use it for good. I just didn't anticipate that Lucifer would come back, steal them from under our nose and then cultivate their god-like skills. If you hadn't left..."

"We left for the good of humanity and because the demons were trying to recruit us", explained Aphrodite through clenched teeth.

She turned away sadly and confessed, "Lucifer came when I was breastfeeding Seraphina and I saw the lust in his eyes when he saw her."

Angrily, she turned around to face Raphael, "We had to leave or else they will use us and our children's powers for their evil works. We alone have the knowledge to cultivate god-like powers in our children".

"It wasn't an exciting experience having demons visit the Underworld constantly", Hades added from the wall. "I positioned my killer dogs at the entrance for a reason".
