The next morning…
“You have got to be joking!!!” Sealtiel shouted in horror. Aimee stroked his back to calm him down but the archangel still shook in anger. “Michael…have you actually seen your wife in uniform? At work? Killing and defend? This is madness!”
Sealtiel shook his head in disbelief, obviously seeing the stupidity of the idea that Michael couldn’t.
They were waiting for Seraphina and the A-legion, which consisted of highly trained warrior angels in the training grounds. Raphael, Barachiel and Jehudiel have also joined them under Michael’s command though could sense some slight reluctance coming from his trained brothers.
Michael thought that it would be a good idea for the archangels and achresses to train with Seraphina and her team. His brothers have been too lux in their military training and it was not good in view of this new threat with Lucifer.
When the others heard about his plan, unease settled. Uriel and Sealtiel shared a worried look. Gabriel, who had thought that this was a great idea, now had doubts and eyed each archress with concern while he rubbed the back of his head. Jehudiel smirked and turned around to hide his ‘this will be disastrous’ expression. Barachiel said nothing but focussed intently on a rock on the floor. Only Raphael showed some enthusiasm.
“That’s an excellent idea!” he boomed heartily. “Just like old times, brothers.” As he smiled, his happy lines became more evident and again, he morphed into the younger and outgoing brother Michael once knew.
“Have you actually seen your wife in uniform and training?” Sealtiel placed that question again.
“She’s not THAT bad”, Raphael frowned.
Uriel laughed bitterly and said, “No, I will give it to you that she’s great but her training…I have never seen anything like it.”
“Well…the training had undergone some improvements since …you’ve left”, Raphael added the large part softly for fear of hurting his returned brothers’ feelings. “We must always be better than the dark ones”. They were necessary changes and Michael knew it.
“She’s a bit…scary”, Sealtiel finally confessed. “She and the A-legion are…” He shivered to emphasized his lost for words. “I will die half-way…actually we all will.”
“Probably before that”, Barachiel finally spoke with a conspirator’s smirk.
“Brother! That is no comfort to Sealtiel”, Raphael added with a disapproving frown.
“Seraphina and Aaron are anything but soft”, Barachiel explained in his wise voice. “They don’t let any soldiers into the A-legion.” He said smugly like a proud father.
At the mention of their names, Seraphina and Aaron in their shorts and top rounded the corner. They were leading a group of 20 or so angels; all toned and all with their wings out. When the angels saw Michael’s group, many eyebrows raised and he noted a female angel with auburn hair whispering something to Seraphina, who frowned.
With a lift of her hand, Seraphina signalled her troops to halt while she matched towards Michael. Again Sealtiel and Uriel exchanged concerned looks but quickly turned their head when Seraphina stopped in front of them.
“Good morning my Lords and Ladies”, she greeted in a business-like tone. She was wearing aviators, so Michael couldn’t guess her emotions. In fact, he was too focused on how well her body looked in navy blue shorts and a white crop top with Michael’s emblem on it. “I believe I booked the stadium for this morning’s training.”
“Of course you did”, Raphael answered for Michael, who was still lost for words and highly distracted by his wife’s untouched body. In fact, Michael was ready to use his husbandly rights to have her body and to use it for his grinding pleasure. But such action will not win him points from his new wife and he scowled at himself for even thinking about such idea. “We are here to join you in training.”
