John was fast walking down the hallway aggressively, and mostly worried of getting detention. He was trying to get to his Chemistry class in time before the bell rang. To his dismay, he was 5 minutes late and he sighed unpleasantly.

"Mr. Watson, You're late. Please see me after class." The teacher said to John having loath in his voice.

The class stirred and the teacher tried to quiet them down.
John turned to his Rugby buddy and whispered,

"I swear to god, I would break that guys neck if we were on the field." John whispered. His classmate snickered and he teacher snapped his head around to Johns direction.

"What was that Mr. Watson? Would you like Saturday Detention?"

John rolled his eyes with disgust and forced out, "No sir.."

"Right then, If I were you, I would keep my big mouth shut and pay attention to the time before getting to this class Mr. Watson." The teacher snapped.

The classroom was filled his giggles and whispers, Johns face went tomato red, sighing and looking down at his feet.

"Why does this happen to me, it was only 5 minutes. But I should know better." He thought.

The class ended and of course the teacher lectured John about respect, discipline and all of that other bullshit.

John later hurried to catch up with his team mates at dismissal to go to Rugby practice.

"Mates!" John called out.

"Ey John, I saw that teacher really put you on the hot spot!" One of his friends, Jack yelled out, laughing.

"Oh that, that was nothing compared to the time when I completely skipped a block of maths," John laughed off, he really didn't want to talk about that subject anymore.

His teammates laughed an headed onto to the field. It was a fairly nice day out with the wind blowing and the sun shining and John was waiting all day for practice. When it came for rugby, he acted like it was Christmas Day. Ever since he was introduced to sports, he could only dream of playing rugby. But it did also appear that being a team captain, was something that he wasn't.

John took a deep breath and shouted,

"Alright boys! Let's get to work before Coach Tom gets here!"

He lead his teammates into practice with drills and eventually a game. John stopped to catch his breath and put his hands on his knees. He turned his head towards the bleachers and saw a unusual face staring right at him.

John squinted at the boy to try and figure out who he was- but he was interrupted by his team mate, accidentally pushing him to the ground. His team mate landed on top of him and in the fall, he elbowed John in the eye.

"What in the bloody fuck was that about!?" John shouted

"I'm sorry mate, I wasn't paying attention and accidentally ran into yah." His team mate struggled to say.

John sat there for a minute holding his hand over his eye decided to go get ice for it.

John walked off the field and sat down on a bench. He found some ice, tied it in a bag and put it over his eye. He decided just to relax for a while and watch his team play.
