(Mark p.o.v.)
I heard a soft knock on my door. I walked over and opened it and saw her standing there. Her hair was messy, she had bags under her eyes, and she looked like she was about to cry. I pulled her into my arms and she started to cry.
Lindsey: I'm sorry, Mark. Oh god...I'm so sorry...
One of my arms was wrapped around her waist, and one hand on the back of her head, running my fingers through her hair. Both of her arms were around my neck, her face buried in the crook of my neck.
Mark: There's nothing to be sorry for. I screwed up. But I want to make things better again. I want to be able to wake up and see you next to me. I want to have those good times again.
Lindsey: Me too.
Mark: Then let's fix this.
Lindsey: Okay. That was one week ago.
In that one week, we had stayed in my house together, along with the rest of my family. For a while, it felt as if she was actually part of the family. Part of my family...again. She helped my mom out with dinner almost every night, when she wasn't playing Mario Kart with me and my brother. The two of them had become quite fond of her actually. They were sad to see her go again. Almost as sad as I was. Now I was standing in front of her, in front of their tour bus, saying our goodbyes. Though it pained me to not be able to hold her anymore, I felt a certain relief. Not that she was gone, but rather that she was leaving on good terms. The whole week has felt like nothing was wrong or had ever been wrong. It didn't feel like being reunited with my girlfriend, but instead, being reunited with my best friend. Nothing romantic or sexual had happened, but instead, we built up our connection again. And now, she was leaving, off on her tour again after the brief hiatus, but it wasn't a miserable experience. Sure, I was sad to see her go, but we smiled genuinely, and hugged, and instead of saying goodbye to one another, we said see you again soon.
Lindsey: Hey, if you ever need me, you'll be able to find me.
Mark: And you'll be able to find me.
Then she smiled, before turning, and stepping onto the bus. And as it started to drive away, I saw her in the window. I smiled and waved, and she did the same. And we kept doing so until it drove out of view.
I'll always find her.(Lindsey p.o.v.)
I couldn't see him anymore. Now I just looked out the window, with one hand against the glass. Then I felt someone sit down next to me. I looked over to see who it was, then turned back to the window.
Lindsey: Hey Drew.
Drew: You miss him?
I nodded.
Drew: Don't worry. We'll finish up the tour, and then maybe you could fly back out here and surprise him. I'm sure he'd like that.
I smiled a little.
Lindsey: I'm sure he would too.
Drew: So, you guys getting on alright now? Or at least better?
Lindsey: Definitely better. Not necessarily relationship better, but at least friendship better. We're getting there.
Drew: Do you want to be in a relationship again?
Lindsey: I don't know. All I know for certain is that I love him. And I want what's best for him. If that's a relationship, or a friendship, or just being acquaintances, then I'll do it. What do you think?
I looked over to him and he smiled.
Drew: Well, from the times that I've talked to him, I'd say he feels the same way about you. And I think, if you two ever got back together, then you'd be very happy together.
I smiled at him before giving him a hug.
Lindsey: Thanks, Drew.
Drew: No problem, Linds.2 Months Later
I stood at the small doorstep in Cincinnati anxiously. I heard footsteps as my heart bested quicker and quicker, almost out of my chest. And then, the door opened, and I saw a man with red and black hair, glasses, and a bright smile. Mark.
Mark: Oh my god, Lindsey!
He wrapped his arms around me, his head resting on my shoulder.
Mark: It's so good to see you.
Lindsey: It's good to see you too.
We both smiled, before pulling away, and walking inside.A/N: Oh my god! Non-depressingness! This is so new for this book! :p
Also, so this has been happening since my first book (good god), and so a lot of times, I'll go to write Lindsey's name, but I'll accidentally write "Lindseh." It's weird. I also can never spell Cincinnati. I always spell it "Cincinatti." And on top of that, when you're typing a title for a chapter, it doesn't autocorrect. So I'm pretty much screwed! (Seriously, if you saw these things without autocorrect, eek!) So every time I name a chapter, I'm always really paranoid about mistakes. Ugh. Stupid spelling. But anyways, if anyone has anything they want to see, tell meh! Any cute moments or tragic events, I'm all ears. So anyways, until next time...
