(Lindsey p.o.v.)

"Lindsey, we have a problem."
"How big of a problem?"
"Pretty big."
"What is it?"
"The bus is broken down."
"Really? No...this can't be happening."
"They're already cancelling shows, it'll be a week to fix it."
"Great. And there's nothing we can do about it?"
"Nothing."
"Well, where are we staying then?"
He sighed. Oh no...
"We don't have enough money in the budget for weeklong hotel rooms for everybody. So we're trying to figure it out."
"How many can we get?"
"I think they said 7."
"So two per room?"
"There are fifteen people Lindsey."
"Oh."
"Yeah, somebody needs to find a place to stay."
"I'll do it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, it'd be awkward to share a room with one of the dudes anyways."
"Okay. I'll let them know. Take care of yourself. We'll check up on you in a week."
"Okay."
He walked away.
Where am I going to stay? I don't know anyone in...well...there's...one person.

(Mark p.o.v.)
Wade: Mark, calm down.
It had been about an hour and a half since we got home and I was freaking out. I still love her. I still love her! And I fucked up!
Mark: Wade! I still love Lindsey and I let her go! I pushed her out of my life! How could I have been so stupid?!
Wade: Mark, it was a year ago. I'm sure she's...moved on.
Mark: Yeah, she's moved on. From me and my bullshit. Ugh! I'm such an ass!
I kicked the bed that I was sitting on. Then, my phone, which was sitting next to me on my bed, started ringing. I picked it up and answered it before I could even look at who it was.
Mark: Hello?
Lindsey: Hi, Mark.
My heart literally stopped for a few seconds. My eyes went wide, my breathing pattern thrown off.
Mark: Hi, Lindsey.
Lindsey: Look, I know you might have some questions and I'm sorry for the way I left. That's all I'll say for now since I think that's a conversation for us to have in person at a reasonable hour. But, I can't believe I'm asking this, I need a favor.
Mark: What is it?
Lindsey: I need a place to stay for a week. Our bus broke down and there aren't enough hotel rooms. I understand if you say know, I don't blame you. It's just you're the only person I know I'm Cincinnati, and-
I'm going to regret this.
Mark: It's fine. Really. You can stay with us.
Lindsey: Thank you! I cannot tell you how...wait, us?
Mark: I'm living with my mom and brother at the moment. So it would be you, me, and them. I hope that alright?
Lindsey: No, that's all good. I was just confused. Thought maybe you were with some friends again.
Mark: Nope.
Lindsey: Well, thank you so much Mark. It means a lot, really.
Mark: No problem. I'll send you the address. So, will you be staying tonight as well?
Lindsey: Yes.
Mark: Okay. I'm on it. Bye.
Lindsey: Bye.
I hung up and looked up at Wade, who was giving me a questioning look.
Mark: Lindsey...needs to stay in Cinci for a week. And...I'm letting her stay here.
He raised his eyebrows, clearly shocked.
Wade: Are you sure that's a good idea man? I mean...
Mark: She doesn't know anyone else and I'm not just going to let her stay on the streets.
Wade: Okay, just be careful.

Wade had left about half an hour ago. I was walking towards the door after hearing a gentle knock on the wood. God help me. I opened it to reveal my former girlfriend, Lindsey. I welcomed her in and took care of her bags, putting them in a guest bedroom. Why did the guest room have to be next to my room? As if this wasn't awkward enough. I made sure she was settled in with as little words as possible. It was hard welcoming her back into my house again. Let alone my FAMILY'S house. I had told them she'd be staying and they both seemed cool with it, which I was grateful for. She got changed into some sweatpants and a t shirt and sat on the bed. I was just about to leave the room when she said my name, causing me to turn around.
Lindsey: Thank you Mark.
Mark: No problem.
I love you...
This was going to be interesting.

A/N: So, this was a bit crappy. I guess that's what happens when I write at 11:30 at night. Ugh. I need sleep. Also, I'm putting a bit more work into my One Shots (which I also do, who knew?), So I'd really appreciate you guys checking them out. I quite like some of them and I have a few more that in working on finishing up. So look forward to that (obviously this story is going to stay the same as usual, no worries). So anyways. Until next time...
