Realizing Each Other's Love

Chapter 16

Dustin's P.O.V

      At school yesterday, it was weird to not be around Marie. She wasn't even there either. Seeing her at the diner yesterday was very awkward. 

      The crazy thing that happened yesterday was that her mom, Gwen and her all went into a tattoo parlor and then came out about an hour an a half later. I wonder if she got a tattoo and if she did of what.

       I feel really stupid for breaking up with Marie. When I did that, I thought it would be best for me, but it wasn't. I am not happy when I'm with other girls. I want to try and talk to Marie about it and see if she would want to get back together with me. I can't live without her and I don't want to. 

      Today, I am going to talk to her. I want to tell her why I did it and that I was being a stupid teenage boy. I want her to know that I love her and only her. She is my life and I want her to know that. 

       I was walking to lunch, when I saw Marie walk to the cafeteria. I ran up to her and grabbed her arm. She quickly turnd around and faced me, "Dustin what do you want." she said.

        "I want to talk to you and explain things. Please give me like ten minutes." I pleaded. 

        "Fine, ten minutes and that's it." she said and pulled me outside. 

        "Okay, I want to explain why I broke up with you and why it was the biggest and stupidest mistake ever. I broke up with you because I need my needs, if you know what I'm saying. I didn't want to pressure you into doing it, so that's why I did. Now that I think back on it it was extremly stupid. I feel alone now and I don't love any other girl like I love you. Well besides my mom and sisters, but that's not the point. I love you so much I almost cry myself to sleep at night. You are my life and I can't and wo't live without you. Please I beg you to take me back. I will never do anthing stupid like that ever again, I swear. Please, I love you Marie. You are my whole world." I finished my speech. Marie's face was still. She was looking straight into my eyes. No emotion on her face whatsoever, "Don't leave me hanging." 

        "Dustin it was a stupid thing that you did. I forgive you and I do take you back." Marie got a big smile on her face when she finished, so did I. I gave her the biggest hug that I have ever givien her. When I let her go, we looked into each others eyes adnd I leaned down and kissed her. Our once soft, passionate kiss, turned into a full make-out session.

         We finally pulled apart after a while and then walked back inside to go eat, "Oh wait, I saw you go into the tattoo parlor yesterday. Did you get anything?" I asked her as we walking into the building.

         "Yeah, but I will show it to you when we get home from school." she said and winked at me. I laughed and then we sat down next to Gwen and Isaac an a bunch of our other friends. 

         They all looked at us weird and then they all realized what happened. Everyone was happy for us. I asked Gwen if she got a tatto yesterday. She showed me her birds behind her ears. They were really cool. I couldn't wait to see Marie's. I wonder what it is.

          Marie and I got to her house after school and she dragged me up the stairs to her room. When we got up there, she shut the door and then looked at me, "Are you sure you want to see my tattoo?" she asked me.

          I nodded eagerly. She smiled and turned around. She lifted up her shirt and a face of a tiger came into view, "Holy cow. Marie that is big. Did it hurt?" I asked her.

          "A lot. It hurt so damn bad, but I wanted something big on my back and Gwen suggested a tiger. It was worth it though. I love it." she said.

         "It really is cool. Maybe I could get a tattoo soon?" I suggested. 

         "Okay, but since you are still 17, you have to get a parents signature." Marie said.

         "Not a problem. My parents will let me get anything." I said and hugged Marie, "I'm so glad you are mine again. I love you so much."

         "I love you too. Don't you ever break up with me again." Maire said in a stern tone. 

         I laughed, " I don't think I could ever let you go." I said and pulled away from her. She looked at me and I leaned down to kiss her again. 

         The rest of the night we were in her room eating a bunch of junk food, watching random movies and cuddling. I love that I have Maire back in my life. I don't think I could never have her not in my life. She is my world. I love her so much and she is never going to slip away from me again.
