Marie's P.O.V
Five years later
It has been five years since I graduated. I am still in college trying to get a masters degree in English. I'm also still with Dustin too. We have had our ups and downs, but we are still strong.
I haven't talked to Gwen or Isaac since they were assholes to us.
My mom got all of her memory back over time.
Right now I'm meeting Dustin at a restaurant by my college because I'm on my lunch break and I don't have that much time.
When I got to the restaurant, Dustin was already there. His back was turned to me so he couldn't see me. I came up behind him and scared him.
"Boo!" I said and put my hands on his shoulders. He jumped a little and turned around and laughed.
"Hey baby." He leaned up and gave me a kiss, "How's college?" He asked.
"Tiring, How's work."
"Work." He said.
"I guess." Then we started talking about random stuff.
Towards the end of lunch, Dustin got a little bit antsy.
"Babe, is everything okay?" I asked him
"Yeah, I wanted to ask u a question." He stood up and came around to my side.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Marie, you have been the greatest thing that has happened to me since high school. You are the most beautiful and gorgeous girl I have ever met. I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Dustin went down on his knee," so Marie, will you do the honor and marry me?" I was crying.
"Yes Dustin I will marry you." He put a ring on my finger and then picked me up in a hug.
He put me down and kissed me. "I love you so much." I said
"I love you too." He said.
I am so glad to spend the rest of my life with Dustin.
