Realizing Each Other's Love

Chapter 10

Dustin's P.O.V

        When I saw Marie run off with out saying a word, I was speechless. I couldn't beleive I just made a fool of myself in front of a whole bunch of my team mates. I just stood there watching as Marie was running away. I couldn't move to go after her, I was in too much of a shock. 

         "Dude, go after her." one of my team mates, Josh told me. I got out of my trance and then realized I had to go after her. I let go of my shirt and started running. I didn't know where Marie went, but I had to find her to see why she left.

         I knew she went inside the school, but I just don't know where. I was running through the entire school, when I heard someone crying in a janitors closet. I opened it up and sure enough there sat Marie. She was crying with her head in her hands.

         "Marie, what happened back there? Why did you run off?" I asked her a little angry, but more concerned.

         "I'm sorry Dustin. I didn't know what to do. I want to be with you, but I don't want this relationship to end up like the relationship Timmy and I had. I haven't had a boyfriend since him and I don't know if I can trust another guy again." Marie was crying as she was talking to me.

         "Marie, I could and would never hurt you. I love you too much to hurt you. I can prove that I am way better than that douchebag. Please if you give me a chance I can prove to you how good of a boyfriend I can be." I pleaded to her. I was now on my knees holding her hands and looking into her eyes.

         "If you can prove to me that you are as good of a guy that I think you can be then yes. Yes I will be your girlfriend." Marie hugged me and my whole body filled with happiness. 

        After a while, Marie and I got out of the closet and then went to our classes, since first period was about to start. Gwen and Isaac found us before hand and congratulated us after we told them the story. I am so glad that I have Maire now. I I will show Marie that I am the right guy for her and that I'm no where near Timmy. Timmy is just a fucking douchebag, who just wants to be the boss of his girlfriends and over power them. I am the totally oppoiste. Yes I may come off as a jerk, but once people actually get to know me, I am a nice, caring guy. I hope Marie and I can last.
