When I woke up I was in some kind of basement. When I looked around I recognized it. It was the basement of the abandoned house out in the woods. I came here when I was little. After I killed my mom and dad. It was a hard time for me and I turned here when I was little. I hate this place.
I decided to hide the fact I'm not like Calum from him. He won't be able to handle it. I smelled his fear for me when I jumped the alpha that bit him. Now he trusts me. It's better if he doesn't know.
Ashton came up with the stupid idea to get Hemmings locked up in the cage he used to lock me in at night. Then we waited for him to wake up. He might know more about me. He studied me for months, maybe he found something. I wanted to know what I could do to stop the massive killing sprees every night. I looked down and saw that the wound slowly started healing. Ashton opened the door and came in with a glass of water. Calum followed him and was relieved seeing me alive. "How long have I been out?" I asked. "For like 6 hours. We were scared you weren't going to make it." Ashton said, concerned.
"Yeah, they were so concerned I had to listen to their rising heartbeats and their talks about you. Well, I'm okay too if you were wondering though." I heard Hemmings sigh. I saw Calum standing next to the cage kinda thing that held him locked up. He was smirking devilish at the locked up boy. I tried to stand up, but then Ashton came and helped me up. "Okay now I'm amused." Hemmings grinned. He was lying on the floor, kicking his feet against the wall. He looked at me with this annoying look on his face. "Can I just kill him?" Calum asked, which made me look up, surprised by his statement. "What? I have the power and I mean I don't like him at all." He laughed.
"No Calum, we aren't going to kill him. He might know more about me than I do and I'm curious about what that is." I sighed and sat down on the table taht stood against the wall. "Ashton? Maybe you can take Calum for a walk through the woods?" I said. I mindlinked him. 'Just take him anywhere I don't want him to know more about me than he does now, even if it's only for now.' "Yeah sure. Come on little wolf, lets walk for a bit." Ashton said, taking Calum outside.
"So, Luke, I know I might have done things that I shouldn't have done, but I know that. I know that like no other. And I really do want to change. But the thing is, I have no fucking clue where to start. you studied me for months. And I'd like to know what you discovered about me. You don't have to tell me how to control, really because I know you still want to kill me, but you can just tell me what you know about what the hell I am, right?" Hemmings sat up and looked at me with this weird look in his eyes. "You cannot control?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows. I shook my head and looked down. "No.." I whispered.
"So... You don't do all this on purpose?" He asked again. "No, I would not fucking kill 9-year-olds out of my own free will! What the hell were you thinking?!" He shove back against the wall. "I can control EVERYTHING as long as the sun is up. But when the moon rises I lose everything. At daylight I can just... Turn off my scent, my supernatural hearing can reach miles and miles further than yours, and I can sense everything around me. Like the fact Ashton and Calum are now walking out of the woods, and Ashton is very nervous about the fact he's walking with a new born werewolf." I sighed. "Luke, just tell me what you know." "I will... I know you're the first one of your kind, the only one who will be raised and you have two sides. Someone predicted this would happen like 50 years ago and it did. The man himself was killed by your teeth. One week ago. He predicted you would raise." "Go on... I have two sides? How is that?" I asked.
"Well, you are now on the bad side, but that was pretty obvious." I rolled my eyes. runt. "You're called the wolf from hell. You destroy everything without a reason. Just craving for blood." I nodded, knowing that what he said was true. "They say you've been sent by the devil. He told me about the other side you have, but not that much because when I was going to meet him again, you had to kill him." "JUST TELL ME WHAT HE SAID." "He told me your other side would be even stronger, but you wouldn't kill others and you'd be the only transforming big o wolf on earth. You'd do anything to protect your loved ones." I swallowed the lump in my throat. That would be a hard one. I already killed them and only have Ashton left...
"You were going to have two mates. Those mates were important to who/what you are going to be in the future." He added before standing up. "One more question. What are mates?" "You know nothing do you?" I shook my head. "Mates are the ones for who you'd do anything just to please them. They mean the world to you. Even when you don't know them, when they're hurt you feel like you have to kill the one who did it to them. Save them. It hurts you to see them in pain. But anyway, the mates are going to help you out. Now please can I go?" I looked around but apparently Ash took the keys. I shrugged and stood up, still a little weak from the wound, and walked over to the cage. "You tried breaking this didn't you?" I asked. He nodded. I bursted out laughing and put my hands around the steel pipes of the cage, slowly pushing them appart. "Here you go." I laughed. He awkwardly stepped out and walked up the stairs.
"Luke?" I said as he was halfway the stairs. He stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Yeah?""If I'm not able to stop this... Promise me you will kill me."
