"CALUM NO!" I said as he wanted to run over to the little girl Hemmings was babysitting that night and tear her appart. He wasn't listening and I was having pretty damn much trouble holding him down. I know Hemmings glared at me. God I don't like him at all. I took a deep breath and pushed Calum against the wall. "Ash? Can you slap him please? I promised I wouldn't hurt him but he's annoying me." Ashton started laughing and slapped Calum across the face.
After like another 4 or 5 hours of trouble holding Calum down the moon was high up in the sky and I taught Calum a couple things. Like feeling pain is keeping you human when you're out of control. Except for me of course. Nothing keeps me human when I'm out of control...
"Shit. I have to go. Hemmings will be expecting me in like 30 minutes." "Wait. Who's that Hemmings guy anyways?" "The guy who started hunting me months ago and finally ran into me. Making me set a duel under the full moon. Which makes him stronger and weakens me. Have you got any tips to fight?" I grinned. Actually it wasn't funny at all. I could use the same powers as Hemmings could, but I wouldn't be as strong as I usually am. "Well. Make sure you stand stronger. With a pack maybe?" "Oh no way. No. Not happing." I said shaking my head. He looked me in the eyes, furrowing his eyebrows. "No. Calum, you're not fighting with me. That's not happening." I said, shaking my head. "I mean, why not? You said it yourself. The moon weakens you while it makes him stronger. It makes me stronger too. And if I got it right, you just told me that you stand stronger when you have a pack. Plus the fact you promised me to stay with me the whole night." I rolled my eyes, knowing that I did tell him that I'd stay.
Somehow this boy I just met means everything to me. I have the feeling I have to protect him with everthing I have. I have no idea how I knew I had to save him from the bite, which I didn't do, and I have no idea why I should help him control. Because to be honest I could've been doing better things right now.
"Fine." I sighed. "You can come. But you're not fighting. Stay out of sight." I rolled my eyes. "Stay behind me." I sighed as I let my fangs grow out. At the same time his came out, which looked really weird. I started walking to the place I walked into Luke two days ago. "Look who decides to show up." I heard Hemmings laugh. "It's half past midnight. You could've hurried a little." He groaned as he stood up. I heard Ashton and Calum talk to each other at the end if the street. If Luke hurts them I'll rip his guts out. "I'm sorry. I had some trouble to deal with today but you should be happy I showed up."
He walked closer and I started growling as he did. His eyes were glowing bright yellow and his fangs came out. He slammed his claws towards my head. I dodged them and stuck my claws into his chest, pushing them harder and harder. Then I felt a sharp pain in my back and looked down. I saw the end of a knife comming out of my stomache. Blood streamed out of my mouth and I was pretty insecure about surviving "Seriously? You brought your pack mates? You're such a coward." I grinned. I still had my claws in his chest, grabbed the tip of the knife and pulled it right through me, making everyone, including Ash and Calum, have the feeling they need to throw up. Yeah I had to admit it was pretty gross. I threw the knife into a random back yard and smirked to Hemmings as I put my hand backwards and pulled the guy next to him. I slid his throat laughing towards Hemmings and I squeezed my claws making him groan in pain.
His eyes started flickering and he pushed me off of him. His eyes glowed brighter then before and he put things around now. He slid his claws over my stomache making me groan. Then he kicked me and grabbed my neck. Suddenly I heard a loud bang and Luke's eyes popped open. All the power flooded out of his body.
I saw Calum standing in front of me with his eyes squeezed shut. "Did I hit him?" He asked.
I laughed and nodded. Then felt the stinging pain in my back again and blacked out. The wound wasn't healing.
