Laura walked with Mason that night back to her dorm.

"Are you sure K.C is alright?" Mason asked as they walked down the street.

"K.C is pretty capable of handling herself." Laura responded.

"Is that so?" Mason sighed.

The two walked through the gates of the university's silence until they walked up to the dorm entrance.

"Thanks for walking me home." Laura smiled.

"Well I do live here too." Mason laughed.

"That's true. Anyway I'll see you in class." Laura smiled as she walked to her dorm.

"Y-yah. I'll see yah around.." Mason waved awkwardly before waking to the opposite hallway.

The next morning Laura walked over to K.C's dorm.

"K.C?" She knocked. "Class is going to begin in 20 mins."

The brunette waited for an answer but was responded with silence.

"K.C?" Laura said a little louder. "Are you home?"

The room with once again filled with sikence.

"I guess she's not home?" Laura said to herself.

The girls thoughts were interrupted when someone called her name.

"Ey! Laura!"

The girl turned around hoping it was K.C but she only found her classmate Mason smiling happily at her.

"Oh hi Mason..." she waved weakly.

"So uhh I was gonna stop by your dorm but you didn't answer. But I got you something .." Mason grinned as her handed her a cup of coffee.

"You got me coffee?" she muttered surprisingly. "R-really?"

"Well yah I mean I had a great time talking to you last night, so I wanted to thank you." the boy grinned.

Laura held the warm drink in her hands as she took a small sip.

Mason started walking before he pointed to K.C's door. "Are you waiting for someone?"

Laura shook her head.

"Well do you wanna walk to Lit. together? Since we are in the same class."

"That's sounds nice. " she smiled.

The mood downtown was somewhat off that morning. Shoppers and tourists were particular quiet today because of the scary looking blonde walking around town. One lady had the misfortune to accidentally bump into him and dropped her groceries for her waiting children back home.

"I-I'm very sorry!" she panicked as she tried to pick up her escaping produce rolling on the pavement. She froze as a tall shadow showered over her. She shut her eyes tightly expecting a painful impact but she was surprisingly met with a gently grab of the hand and a strong pull up back to her feet. the boy reached down and quickly picked up all the things spread all over the floor, skillfully placing them neatly into the bag.

"Sorry.." the boy muttered before handing her bag over and walked back on his way, leaving the lady completely baffled.

"Are you alright?!" The shopkeeper yelled, running towards her. "You're not hurt right? That kid didn't hurt yah?"

The lady shook her head still dazed by what had just happened.

The shopkeeper sighed in relief. "That's a good to hear. That boy is a troublemaker here. Always being chased by someone. I'm surprised he didn't hurt yah. I never seen him stop to help people that he's knocked over."

"I wanted to thank him..." The women muttered as she watched the boy walk up the steep hill, topped by the black gates of the castle-like university above.
