                          * Evaline *

It was about a week after the murders happened. My dad has been on edge and the school is closed for the time being. Right now I'm sitting in the kitchen alone thinking about everything that has been going on lately. Who would be so heartless to kill fifteen teenagers?

My dad was doing an investigation, this whole week he was questioning every single pack member, staff, human. Everyone was getting interviewed, even Mason and Adam. Maria came out of my dad's office with Adam, they both sat by me as they saw me. I looked at them, my eyes started to water.

They both were confused, but Maria  hugged me anyway. "Evaline what's wrong?" Adam asked softly looking at me as tears steamed down my face.
I cry and burry my head into Maria's shoulder, she rubs my back and mumbles to Adam something that I can't understand. Adam disappears and I say nothing I just sob into my anuts arms. Soon Adam came back with Rebbecah and Michael, they looked at me and saw my tear-stained face.

"Eva what's wrong?" Michael asks as his mom pulls away from me. Rebeccah comes and embraces me tightly, I shake my head and cry, Michael hugs me and they all pull away waiting for my awnser.
I take a deep breath and look at my family teary eyed. I can't hold this in any longer I'm already falling apart because of it.

"It's... My fault." I blurt looking down at my feet. This is all my fault. They look at me completely confused.
"What's your fault?" Rebbecah asked looking at me, she rubbed my back soothingly as I felt like I was going to cry again.
"It's my fault that these people are dead. It's all my fault." I cry releasing the truth.
"it's not your fault. Don't say that, it could never be your fault. Someone, a very bad person did this. It's not your fault." Adam said I shook my head at him.
"You don't understand! Yes It is he did it, it has to be him!" I snap at them they look at me surprised, and confused.
"Who? Do you know who did this?" Adam asked softly and looked at me.
"One of the victims was at the party we went to. I kissed him and then someone threatened me." I explain, "but by the time I turned around he was gone. No one saw him, he was like a ghost."

"Does your dad know about this?"

             I shook my head.

"You have to tell him. Now. This might help him figure out who the traitor is." Adam said and we all went down to my dads office.

Adam walks in with me and I tell my dad exactly what I told Adam and the others.
My dad runs a hand through his hair and asked, "why the fuck didn't you tell me this earlier?" I shrug, "and you didn't see what he looks like so I can't kill the fucker. Great just fucking great." My dad seethes and punches a wall.

The days following my dad let me listen in as he investigated everyone again. None of the voices matched his. My dad was extremely fusterated and currently taking a break. I'm very nervous for this coming Monday though because my dad told me that all the clear water students are getting transferred. To Carter prep academy for a few months, Carter prep academy was a private high school run by a neighboring alpha friend of my dad.

Monday came faster than I expected or wanted. I woke up and put on the uniform that my dad had got for me. Yes you heard right, school uniform. I fixed my hair taking it out of the braids I had it in so it would be wavy. I combed through my hair then brushed my teeth and put on some perfume. After I was done getting ready I made my way downstairs to see my dad at the table with the others. They were all eating breakfast. I sat in my seat and ate with them. My dad smiled at me, "I'll take you guys to school today because I need to talk to chance." Chance I learned was the alpha, my dads friend.

When we arrived at the school everyone looked at us, and pack members of ours did the nod of respect. The humans went on about their day. My dad lead us to the office and told the secretary that we needed to see the alpha.

We were lead to an office where a man with blonde hair, and blue eyes smiled at us warmly. The man got up and hugged my dad, "Xavier, how have you been?" The man asked my dad as he pulled away.
My dad shrugged in response, "fine. Thanks. Anyways this is my daughter Evaline." My dad said pointing to me. "Evaline this is chance. My friend and alpha of the sun ray pack." Dad introduced. I smiled up at the man, he pulled me into a tight hug.

"She's as beautiful as I heard she was." Chance smiled as he pulled away. My dad nodded in agreement and smiled at me ruffling my hair. As the door opened to chances office reveling a teenage boy who had blonde hair and green eyes.
"Is this them?" He asked raising an eyebrow as he looked at us. Chance nodded at the boy, whom I assume is chances son.
"Show them around, Trevor. And be nice, alright?" Chance said in a stern voice. The boy, Trevor I guess was his name, rolled his eyes.
"Whatever." Trevor said and looked to us, "follow me." He said bluntly and walked out. We follow him and he leads us back to the main hallway.

Trevor shows us around, and Michael moves closer to me.

"Trevor seems like a bit of a jerk huh?" Michael says I nod in agreement and so does Rebbecah. We continue walking and he leads us outside to a cool looking stone paddieo.  It was beautiful, it had a garden too.

"Wow." I said and looked around, I loved this part of the academy. I guess being here won't be as bad as I thought it'd be.
