Katherine sat down in her directors chair and Jack sat next to her , him being stage manger .

Race and Spot walked on stage with the funeral goers .
"Playback " Katherine said and the scene began

"You wait just a minute, Paul!
It is ignorant, hateful talk like yours that makes this world a place our boys could not live in!
They were not dirty!

in the Lord's great song!" Race sang stopping Spot in his tracks .

"Our boys were pansies, Bill!" Spot said shaking his head

"Yes! My boy's a homosexual,

I love my dead gay son!" Race said urging his hands up .

"I've been thinking. Praying.
Reading some magazines. And it's time we opened our eyes.

"They swing upon the pearly gates --" spot sang

And now they're happy bear cubs in the Lord's big den!" Everyone sang

"Go forth and love each other now, like our boys would have done." Spot and Race sang holding hands. Jack grabbed Katherine's hand and held it.

"Dead gay son! I love my dead gay son !" The two sang as the danced off stage .

"Cut! Katherine.... We need to talk about this mic situation.... Can we talk in the break from ?" Jack asked. Katherine nodded and they walked .

"It went really well didn't it ?" Katherine asked as Jack closed the door .

"Yeah ... I'm glad I didn't get a part though " Jack said

"What ? You were pissed at me for a month !" Katherine said back placing her hands on her hips .

"I'm glad I did ... Because I can do this and not break character " Jack said and he kissed her
