We had people move us in the new house, since we had heavy stuff and not enough muscle to move it. While they were moving us in, my mom watched them and Diana and I went on a walk. We moved to a new state for a fresh start. If we would have stayed in North Carolina they would have told the new school my record in Broughton. I didn't want that so we worked our away around it and just moved away from the bullshit.

Plus North Carolina is pretty stupid. You can't go any faster than what is posted or you get pulled. That's so dumb. Also the debate between LGBT community and which bathroom they should use. You can't do anything anymore without someone getting onto you.

"California is so pretty." Diana said, looking around.

"And so are the guys." I laughed.

"Right!"

We laughed together, taking pictures and checking out the shirtless guys. Moving in the late spring to California will always an advantage.

I fixed my room up to the way I wanted it, Diana did the same. My mom was unpacking the kitchen so she could cook as soon as possible. I was listening to music through my headphones and singing out loud. I was comfortable with Diana enough because I know that she won't really judge me and she'll love me no matter what.

Bird Set Free by Sia came on and I loved that song so much so I prepared myself to nail the song.

"Clipped wings, I was a broken thing..." I started. I got really into the song, adding as much emotion to it because I could relate so much. I loved that song so much.

After singing my heart out, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took my headphones out and turned around to see Diana. She smiled at me.

"That was so fucking beautiful." She said to me.

"I doubt it." I blushed. I wasn't sure what to say.

"Dude, I need you to record yourself singing that and upload it online. It was so amazing. I'm not even joking. I could listen to you sing that on repeat for years. I guarantee you'll be a hit if you upload it."

"I've never thought about being a hit. I've always dreamed of being a singer but I always thought I wasn't good enough."

"Not good enough? Girl, you singing that song will have record labels competing for you." Diana said. "Go get a shower and get ready, we're recording you!"

I laughed and did what she said. I didn't really care about uploading this video but I could benefit from it. It would be pretty awesome being internet famous and having fans.

I got ready and put on some makeup. People look at beauty and talent, so I need to show off both. When I was done, I came into my room where Diana had set me up a place to sing where the background actually looked put together because my room wasn't really finished yet.

"So you'll listen to the words on through headphones on your phone and I'll set my phone up to record." She stated.

"Fine with me." I smiled.

I grabbed my phone I left on my dresser while I took a shower. It still had headphones in it from earlier and I sat down. She set up her phone and pressed record. I pressed play on my phone.

I prepared myself to sing during the intro. Then once the lyrics came, I sang my heart out. I wanted to let everything in me out. All my destructing emotions and what they did to me. I wanted to express all of it in this recording.

The song finished and Diana stopped the video. We watched it and it was beautiful. I could feel every emotion I let out and it was making me tear up. Music has always been an outlet for me.

"I'm speechless, Nina. That was so breathtaking." Diana breathed out.

"Thank you." I wiped my tears.

"So uploading is okay with you?" She asked, grabbing my laptop.

"Yep."

So short chapter but this is where everything begins :) I can't wait to write the rest even though I have really bad writers block. Also, the video is from American Idol, one of my favorites sung the song and it touched me so much and I listened to the actual song and I've been obsessed ever since. If you haven't heard the actual song, it's on YouTube. There wasn't anything but the music video and a messed up lyric video so I just gave you Dalton's performance. Sorry :/ I love Dalton tho :)
