Chapter 25
The next two nights I slept in my old bed again. Alone.
It didn't feel right to venture into our suite.
I had asked a maid where Xavier was and she answered that he had gone back to his parents estate.
I asked if he had mentioned anything before he went and after she gave me a quizzical look she said that he had just said he had to get away.
I thanked her and she went on her way.
'Get away', her words echoed in my head. Get away from me. Tears pricked at my eyes but I understood that he needed space, it must have crushed him to find out that his wife was pregnant with a child that was potentially not his. I still hadn't had the guts to find out who's it was, no-one even knew I was pregnant apart from Bella.
That night was the same, my Prince still hadn't come back to me.

It was Monday and I still didn't know where Xavier was. When I arrived at school in the stupid limo I half expected him to be leaning against the oak tree waiting for me but he was no where to be seen.
I hurried through the corridor keeping my eyes peeled for him but it was to no avail. Slinging my bag on the floor I slumped into my 1st period seat next to Bella, put my head in my hands and let out a groan of frustration.
"I still have no idea where he is and he won't answer my calls. What am I going to do?"
"It will be fine, he will come around, he loves you enough." She gave me a pointed look.
"You're right. He'll come around." He had to.
"Hey," Bella poked my cheek. "There's nothing you can do now so lighten up. We can go grab a smoothie at lunch and then I'm sure when you go home Xavier will be there."
I gave her a weak smile and squeaked out an agreement.

It was stupidly hard to decide whether the Oreo smoothie would be better than the more classical strawberry and cream smoothie. Was biscuit in a smoothie just too weird? I gazed up at the massive smoothie menu, my mouth watering at the thought of all the exotic flavours.
"Hurry up Ads. A queue is forming."
"Ok, ok, I'll have the Oreo please." I handed the cashier my money, keeping my head down and trying to hide my identity.
"I may as well take a risk with my smoothie like I have with the rest of my life."
Bella bumped her hip against mine. "we are here to enjoy ourselves, stop being pessimistic."
It would seem that my attempts at concealing who I was were in vain as I watched as the cashiers eyes widened in recognition.
"Shhh." I frantically pressed my finger to my lips. "Please?"
He nodded smiling, cute dimples denting his cheeks.
I smiled sweetly back at the boy and then Bella and I slid into a booth.
A couple of minutes later the blonde haired cashier came up with our smoothies.
"Er, we have a problem." He mumbled sheepishly and glanced towards the glass window at the front of the parlour. A few reporters were stood trying to peer through the glass and catch a shot of me no doubt. I grabbed a menu of the table and hid behind it. I narrowed my eyes at the boy with dimples.
"I didn't tip them off, I swear."
I laughed as the boy stood there nervously sweating.
"I'm joking, I trust it wasn't you but can you get us out the back?"
