Tragic

"Maya Hart, Riley Matthews and, Lucas Friar, please come to the office."

I walk to the office and see Riley, my best friend, and Lucas, her crush, walking towards me.

"Where's Farkle?" I ask.

"I don't know. I haven't seen him for a couple of days. I texted him and called him a bunch of times, but no answer."

Lucas and Farkle are best friends too. Honestly, I am a little freaked out by Farkle's disappearance. Just before we walk in I see a cute guy at the desk who I feel like I've met before. I notice Riley look at him and look right back.
When we walk in Principal Yancy looked very worried.

"Why are we here?" I ask.

"Well, Miss Hart, if you must know-"

"And I do" I say getting irritated.

"Farkle hasn't been here for a few days. And firstly, I wanted to ask you if by any chance you have seen him?"

"Nope" we all say in unison.

"That's what I thought. Okay and secondly, have you heard what happened?" Principal Yancy says nervously.

"No" I say very confused.

"Is he okay?" Riley asks.

I can see how concerned Lucas is. There is a dead silence in the room for a while. Finally Principal Yancy breaks the silence.

"His parents were on a plane going to Singapore to discuss plans for a new Minkus building and they got into a plane crash."

Out of the corner of my eye I could see Riley crying into Lucas' chest. Lucas and I are both in shock at what we are hearing. I didn't know what to do so I ran out of the office.

Sorry for the short chapter. I'm just starting to write and I'm kind of just going by year and writing what I think of in the moment.
