"Lux are you ready to go?" Harry called out searching for the toddler.
"Harreh!" Lux ran out from behind the couch and launched her tiny body at Harry.
"Abs, you ready too?" Harry's voice and footsteps neared the bathroom where I was putting on a pair of jean shorts and thin t-shirt over my bikini.
"Almost, did you pack sunscreen? Lou will kill us if Lux got sunburned."
"Yes, now would you stop worrying? Everything's all right." Harry appeared at the bathroom doorway with Lux on his hip and a large bag slung over the opposite shoulder.
"I can't help it. What if we forget something?" I sighed running a hand through my long hair.
"Then, we can always buy it. Now, can we go?" Harry began to impatiently tap his foot on the wood floor.
"Yes, let's go." I grabbed my beach bag from the countertop and followed Harry out of our hotel suite.
Not surprisingly the outside of the hotel was filled with fans. I pulled my sunglasses out of my bag and put them on Lux. Harry gave me his even after my multiple attempts to persuade him not to. His black Ray Bans shielded my eyes from the sun and flashing of cameras as Harry led me and Lux, who I held against my chest, through the crowd.
After nearly a half hour of driving Harry pulled into the lot of a small public beach. Only a few other families were set up along the shoreline enjoying their time together. I unbuckled Lux from her carseat and set her down in the ground. She immediately bolted to the back of the Range Rover and wrapped her tiny arms around Harry's leg.
"Harreh!" She began giggling as Harry began walking towards the beach with her clinging to his leg. Harry struggled to keep his balance as his arms full with beach towels and Lux's diaper bag.
I closed the lift gate on the rental and followed Harry's large footprints down the sandy beach to where he had dropped everything. Lux was now hanging upside down in Harry's strong yet gentle grip. Her blonde hair blew away from her face in the wind and she had a huge smile on her face.
"Harry, be careful!" I warned nearing the two and pulling off my t-shirt revealing my bikini too underneath.
"Would you stop worrying, Abs?" Harry teased sticking his tongue out.
"Watch it, Styles. You have a show tonight and might not make it if you keep that up. All I have to do is make sure you don't came back up when we go in the water."
"Is that a threat?" Harry swung Lux upright and set her down on the sand.
"No, it's a promise." Harry now stood directly in front of me. His tall height shielded the sun from my eyes.
"Now where have I heard that line before?" He grinned.
"Well, I have said it on my show." I pointed out.
"Abs, so has practically every television show ever made." Harry stepped closer and placed a hand on my cheek.
"Harry, that's a lie and-" My sentence was cut off as Harry placed his lips against mine.
I let myself get lost in the kiss before suddenly remembering we weren't alone. "Harry, sto-" Harry's hand moved to the back of my neck and brought my lips back to his. I pushed against his chest with my hands in an attempt to pull away again. "Harry, stop."
"Why?" He whined softly against my lips. His hot breath fanned across my face.
"Lux." One word and we were both frantically searching the beach for the lost toddler.
