Ben's POV
"The knights of ren...you shall lead them..."
I heard it again. The same voice that was booming inside my head ever since I'm training with Master Luke.
It was always unclear, but now I can hear him clearly.
"Betrayal..."
"No more escaping, no more sneaking, no more running away, no more war, no more republic."
"Join the dark side...my son.''
"You and your loved one can be together"
"You can be free..."
"You can now assure she is safe...but you cannot assure if she is safe for you"
It was what I dreamt last night. Somehow I did not woke up. I didnt woke from night terrors. Not anymore.
I woke up, it was morning. With Cloud beside me.
We made love last night. I turned to her and fiddled her hair.
We're finally together again.
"Mmm.." Cloud groaned.
"Hey..." I said and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning love." Cloud said as she hugged me tightly.
"I found you sleeping on the sofa with your book." He said.
"Last night, eh?" She smiled to the thought of what happened last night.
I peeked into her mind, replaying the scenes from last night over and over again.
"Thank you Ben..." She smiled."Did your mother already know youre here?"
I shook my head. "Youre the only one who knows that I am here."
"We should go to the Ileenium system, you should go to her." She kissed my nose and stood up and wore her robe.
"No...she wouldnt like to see me." I said.
"No! She would be happy... especially your father." She replied.
"Also him, of course he wouldnt like to see me." I said sitting up.
"Come on, please? I just want them to know that youre safe here wit-"
"I told you I dont want to! Why are you so stubborn and have to insist everything!?" I yelled at her.
She seemed very shocked just stuttered the words "o-okay..."
I sighed and reached her my hand. "Come on, love....I am sorry!"
I yelled at her. I yelled at my precious Cloud.
I felt guilty.
"Okay...okay..I'm sorry too..." she said and walked to the bathroom.
I made a mistake. I felt guilty. I never shouldve done that. I love her. I love her so much that I would sacrifice my own life for her.
She never did something wrong. I feel so bad.
"Cloud...?" I knocked to the bathroom door, "Hey, baby, I'm sorry. I really am..."
"I'm sorry too Ben..." she said.
''She will betray you... she is not to be trusted."
The voice again, boomed in my head.
