Chapter 42-Is it really too late?

"I'm sorry,_______.But you are too late" Louis said.I froze for a few seconds."What do you mean?" I asked.Louis sighed before answering."Niall's-he.... You should just be with Zayn" he said."What kind of an answer was that? I told you that I love Niall more than anything.More than Zayn.You are not answering my question" I said,annoyed with Louis's answer."I told you.You'r just too late to fix it now-" Louis started to say but I cut him off-"Where's Niall?" I asked.

"He left" Louis said.I widened my eyes."What do you mean he left?"  "He just left all of us.Niall left Bradford.He didn't tell us where he is going.He threw his phone away,now we have no idea where he could be" Louis said.I could feel the sadness in his voice.

I felt hot tears starting to form in my eyes."You have no idea where he could be? Why did he leave like that?" I asked."He left because of you.Niall said before he left.... that he can't handle the fact that you are not his princess anymore.He can't bear to see you with another guy.He is just so heart broken that you left him like that.Specially,the day before he was going to propose to you".

My mouth dropped.I let my tears flow down."He-He was going to propose to me?" I asked while crying.Louis nodded."Niall said that he will do anything to make you happy.And,he thought that you were happy with Zayn.He just felt like he is not needed in your life anymore.He didn't say anything about where he is going.We have the slightest idea." Louis explained.I was speechless.How could I be so thoughtless? 

By the corner of my eye,I saw Zayn came walking towards us.I quickly wipe off my tears."Hey guys! What are you two talking about?" Zayn asked,happily."Oh,Nothing!" Louis covered up."I'm sorry Louis,can I borrow _______ for now?" Zayn asked."Sure! She is yours!" Louis said and walked towards Eleanor.I looked at Zayn who was staring at me."What?" I asked.Zayn didn't say anything.He gave me a little smile and sat where Louis sat before.Zayn continued to look at me.I smiled and broke the eye contact by looking around the room,trying to find Niall.

After a few seconds,the boys (Liam,Harry and Louis) came towards us."Sup!" Harry said.I just smiled at him.I really want to see Niall right now.I just want to be in his arms and kiss him.The boys took their seats next to me.I was in the middle of Louis and Zayn.Why isn't anyone telling me where Niall is right now?

After a few minutes the girls also joined us.They looked a bit tired from all the dancing.I wasn't in a good mood now.I'm just hoping that Zayn wouldn't realize it.The girls were standing in front of us,talking about random things with the boys.I didn't pay attention to any of the conversations which were taking place around me.I just sat there and thought about Niall.

Suddenly there was awkward silence.That made me snap out of my day dreaming."_______," Zayn started to say.Everyone turned to face Zayn now,including me."What are you still doing here?" Zayn asked.I was confused."What?" I asked in an unsure tone.

"What I meant was,why are you here with me when you should be there with him?" Zayn said.I widened my eyes,he can read my mind.I looked around me and saw everyone staring at me.(Everyone includes El,Dani,Perrie,Jenny and the boys).I didn't know what to say.I kept quiet.I looked at the ground and let Zayn continue.

"Cause this time,I'm sure that I lost you for good" Zayn added.I made eye contact with Zayn.I was fighting back the heavy tears.I could feel everyone's eyes on me."So just say his name.Out loud" Zayn said."Zayn.. I-" I started to say but I got cut off by Zayn "No.His name isn't Zayn".That's when I broke down.I let the tears fall down from my eyes."I may not even see him again.I don't know where he is.I don't even have his number" I said while crying."Are you sure you don't know where he could be?" Eleanor asked me.I thought hard.Then it hit me."I think I  know where he is!" I said between my tears.
