Chapter 4- He Asked me out!

It was monday,it was cold and windy.I put on some denim trousers and a long sleeved red shirt. I stepped out of the house carrying my bag,it was very cold.I ran into the university and found the girls waiting for me at our table in the cafeteria."Atleast you didnt over sleep today" Jenny said.I rolled my eyes and took a seat next to Rose.Rose looked a little quiet and shy today but I didnt ask her why.I told the girls about what happened on Saturday but I still didnt tell them that I have a crush on Niall."Ooohhh!" Emma said.Emma loved annoying me because that was like her hobby."How did you finish your project on one day?" Jenny asked me."I dont know,I was Bord and had nothing to do so I started on my project and the next thing I knew was that I finished the project by tea time". "Guys incase you forgot, my birthday is on Wednesday!" Rose finally said something.Wednesday and Thursday was a holiday."OMG WE TOTALLY FORGOT!" Jenny said.Rose rolled her eyes.We forget her birthday every year and she always had to remind us a day before her birthday."This Wednesday? Oh! Darn,I'm going to Scotland on Wednesday morning and I will be returning on Friday!" Emma said sadly."Scotland? Why on earth are you going to Scotland?" I asked her."My dad!" Emma said."Fine then you will have to miss my birthday party." Rose said proudly.Emma pretended to cry.We all laughed at began chatting about random things that came into our minds.

It was 11.00 am.It was time to hand over the projects.We went to our lecture room and saw Mr.Banks waiting (Mr.Banks didnt teach us chemistry,he was just one of the sectional heads).We gave in the projects.It was now 11.05 the handover time is finished.Now Mr.Banks wouldnt accept anyother projects.Mr.Banks winked at me when he saw me.I was quite close with Mr.Banks.My friends think that Mr.Banks is favouring me because I always get straight A's on every exam.But he cant be favouring me.Emma always annoys me that maybe Mr.Banks have fallen for my beauty,when she says that I get so annoyed that I give her a punch.We walked out of the lecture room and found Niall running towards the room as fast as he could,holding the project on his hand.OH! NO! I thought to myself.He was too late,now he couldnt hand in the project.All that hard time WASTED! "Am I too late?" Niall asked me breathing heavily as he reached me.I nodded."SH*T IT!" Niall said."______,as you are Mr.Banks favorite student and because he FAVOURS you,maybe he will take in Niall's project if you convince him." Rose said quietly."You really think so?" Niall asked Rose. Rose blushed.Niall looked at me and grabbed my shoulder and said "Please _______,Please convince him! Otherwise all my hard work was all for nothing!" "Okay I will try" I said as I and went into the lecture room once again with Niall."Submissions are not accepted now! " Mr.Banks said when he saw Niall holding his project."Please Sir, I worked really hard on it" Niall said."Young man,you should learn to be methodical.I dont care how much hard you worked on it,I will not accept your project." Mr.Banks said sternly."Mr.Banks,please give him another chance.He worked harder more than any of the students here" I said."Even if he worked hard or not I cant accept his project" Mr.Banks said.Niall got angry."Do you know who I am?" Niall asked sternly.I looked at Niall a little bit shocked."Even if you are the queen's sons,I will not accept your project" Mr.Banks said steadily.I swallowed and just looked at Niall."Do you know my name or my roll number?" Niall asked him."No.Who are you?" he asked.Niall's eyes were now filled with excitement that he quickly moved his hand to the bundle of projects and mixed it all up with his one so that Mr.Banks couldnt find Niall's project.My mouth opened as I watched Niall jumbling the projects.Niall out of no where grabbed my hand and ran out of the lecture room."Good luck trying to find my project!" Niall shouted as we ran out of the room.We both were laughing when we heard Mr.Banks shout "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!!!! WHAT IS YOUR ROLL NUMBER??!!!!! UHHHH!!!!". We ran past the cafeteria and stopped when we reached the Library.We stopped and laughed our heads off.Suddenly Zayn,Louis,Harry and Liam came running towards us.Zayn got a little red."WHAT HAPPENED?" Louis asked. "Something that you should do if you past the deadline in when you have to hand out something!" Niall said as he laughed."Why? What did you do?" Harry asked."I would be a cruel friend if I teach you it" Niall said."Comeon man! Tell us!" Louis said."Fine" Niall said and he told what he did."You seriously did that? And if Mr.Banks search for you at the office and if you get caught?" Liam asked."I dont need to worry about that,I got the teacher's sweet girl around me" Niall said as he put his arm around me.Zayn was still red.He didnt say anything. At that moment Jenny,Emma and Rose came running towards us."There you guys are" Jenny said."What happened?" Emma asked."I'll tell you" I said and I began walking with the girls."See you later ______!" I heard Harry yell out.I turned around and waved my hand.

We reached our cafeteria table and I told them what happened.Their eyes widen and they started laughing.I joined in as well.Afterwards we had to go for lectures.We had lectures the whole day.I saw Louis,Harry,Liam and Zayn alot but I didnt see Niall.After all the lectures were over and I was getting my stuff ready to go home.I saw Rose running towards me,her face was really red."_______! I have something to say!" she told me excitedly."What is it?" I asked her impatiently."You wouldnt belive it but NIALL JUST ASKED ME OUT!!!!!" Rose said.My heart stopped.I froze and looked at her "______?" Rose shook me.I snapped out of it "What did you say" I asked her."I said that Niall just asked me out!" Rose said."Your kidding me right?" I asked her weakly."Why would I lie about something like this?" she asked."Well......... you just met him today and by the end of the day he asked you out?" I asked her."Well,actually what I didnt tell you guys is that I met him yesterday at the park.I was just walking lonely and I saw him and we just talked and got to know each other and................ yeah.I really like him,_______!" she said happily.I was broken inside but I tried not to show  it "Ohhhhhhhh......." I said."Whats wrong? You are not having a crush on Niall arent you?" she asked.I started shaking "Me? Of course not!" I lied."Great because we are having dinner tonight!" she said."Tonight? Well.......... I hope you have a good time!" I said as I walked out of the university.Heart broken.

How could Niall do this to me? Why didnt he like me? I had a millions of questions.I suddenly felt really jealous but whats the point of being jealous? Tears were forming in my eyes.My best friend is now dating my crush.I'm soooo CRUSHED! I ran home and started writting about what happened on my diary.Being jealous is not going to help me get Niall or will it? 

Little did I know that this was just the beginning.
