My dad was almost a goner, I had to do something, and fast. I yell, "Hey, you, yeah I'm talking to you you butt ugly squid." I know the insults are awful, but I get that from my dad. I continued, " Why don't you come over here so I can rearrange you face. Maybe it will help your chances with the lady trolls."

His face became beat red and he threw the rock away from my dad. He moved the earth so chains held my dad down and turned towards me. I had a moment of victory, but then realized that Rancliff was now angry, no furious, at me. I gulped. I started out arrogant, now I had to see this through and continue my bluff. I said, "Oooh, did I burst your bubble. Oh I'm so sorry. Maybe next time you should start playing with manly weapons, not bubbles"

He almost burst into flame, I could almost see the steam smoldering off of his brown mop of hair. Now it was time for some menace. Shadows and smoke rolled out of my hands and lifted me up into the air. I put on my best I can beat you into the dirt and I'm serious as well face as I was lifted up. For affect I created pockets in my shadow where light could get through, then I would quickly fill it up so it looked like lightning. I growled, "Now, let him go and you can go with your life."

I hoped that was menacing enough. He looked thoroughly not scared. I gulped again. He threw a rock at me. I ducked as I yelped. Well, there went my bluff. I stumbled to the ground and looked up at him. He soared over me and moved the ground around me. I stumbled and started to climb up into the sky. Before I got very far he shot past me and hit me with his arm. I fell back and started to taste blood. I looked up as he landed in front of me and smirked. He said, "Not so cheeky now," and lifted a boulder.

I was pretty sure that I would have thrown up, but I forgot to eat lunch. A voice burst though my terror. It said, "Hey, how about you fight someone your size, your very, very, large size if I might add. You know, because your fat." He then looked at me and said, "Well honey, looks like this is the biggest butt of all" It sounded like my dad. Only he would crack a fat joke in this serious moment. I looked over and my eyes almost popped out of my head. My dad was standing with his hands vibrating. The chains that held him were completely gone. He started to run towards Rancliff but then started vibrating. He vibrated at the same frequency as the earth under him and it helped him moves faster. He speeded towards Rancliff and soon got to him. Jesper punched him in the face. At that moment I knew that if we survived this, he would tell the rest of the group that he punched Rancliff's face, IN THE FACE. He whirled around and saw that Rancliff had thrown a boulder at him.

I thought that he would have been smashed right then, but instead the boulder turned to dust. Rancliff's eyes went wide. He ordered his men to shoot. Thousands of bullets zipped through the air. I covered my head wishing that this was only a simulation. That it would turn off and Chief Tanner would walk in shaking his head. That wasn't the case. This was real. My dad couldn't survive that. Once the firing stopped and the dust settled I heard a gasp. I thought that maybe a stray bullet had hit Rancliff. I looked up teary eyed and stopped. There was my dad. Standing in the middle of destruction. He looked condensed, like he was underwater or something. His eyes were blazing with a savage need. The need to survive. The need to protect something he loved; me.

He stared with disgust at the people around him. I had no idea what he was planning, but I was glad to be on his team. He reached out his hand and vibrated it. The armies armor began to rattle and shake. He was vibrating everyone's armor. They would be beaten up by their own gear! Once he was done with that, he dropped them on the ground and turned towards Rancliff. Rancliff looked nervous. He flew up into the air and started throwing boulder after boulder at Jesper. My dad, for his part, disintegrated them, or phased right through them. Rancliff started to become anxous. He would try and shift the ground underneath Jesper but my dad would just jump out of the way with ease. It was an intense battle and as Jesper got closer to Rancliff, Rancliff got more and more nervous. He stared throwing rocks faster and faster trying to stop my dad. I, for my part, just stared in shock and awe.

Rancliff suddenly got this gleam in his eye. He quickly flew around my dad and grabbed me by the throat. He lifted me up as I kicked and struggled to get away. He knew I was weaker than my dad and he used that to his advantage. He said with a low growl, " You will stop and surrender or I will kill her." My dad stiffened. He glared at Rancliff. Then he started vibrating again. It was subtle, but I knew my dad, and he was definitely vibrating. He nodded at me with assurance. He glared back at Rancliff and lifted his hand in the air. I heard a buzzing noise, then Rancliff dropped me. He was in the air, and was vibrating. He looked at my dad in horror as my dad swept his hand down. Rancliff slammed down beside me with a thump. I looked at him. He wasn't dead, but well and thoroughly bruised. I looked around me, the army was down. I looked at my dad, he wasweak, and tired. He was staggering around and was barely able to stand. He started to fall over and I ran to his side.

He had passed out. Apparently using his powers had taken a toll on him. I heard buzzing above me and looked despairingly up. There was a helicopter. It was chief's helicopter. I could see him looking out. He had red hair with a bushy beard, like an obi-wan-kenobi beard. He was regal just standing there. When he saw us, he promptly jumped out of the plane. He landed on one knee and softened his landing with electricity. He was a big person, but not too big. He had the Commander and Chief air about him and whenever I read his aura( yes that's one of my powers), it was powerful and beautiful. Not like the slender lady in the red dress beautiful, more like the awe-inspiring you just want to die for the guy beautiful.
I saw the helocopter land and the team jump off. I felt a pair of arms wrapping around me. It all became a blur. They collected my dad and climber onto the helocopter. I remember protesting but I can't remember why. The way back was smooth and there were no hiccups. I fell asleep halfway there.
