Chapter 15

I got up. And then looked at the time 6:30! I only had 10 minutes! I quickly got ready and then before I was Gonna leave Len woke up "Rin it's Saturday morning go back to bed"he said half asleep. "I'm so stupid!"I sighed and then put my pjs on. I couldn't fall back asleep though. Why did I forget it was Saturday?

I woke up and Len was awake. He was making eggs and toast for the both of us. He's such a sweet boy. "Sup lil bro"I greeted him. "Hey big sis"he greeted back and then put the eggs on a plate. "Eggs served!"he said looking proud. The last time he ever successfully cooked something was never. I guess he's learning now from the master (me!)."Nice, looks like you can cook after all"i jokedand he was too proud to be offended. We both ate and then left the house to go run errands. We let Miku and teto tag along. Len was sorta sad kaito couldn't come due to yoga classes he is forced to take."Ok Rin I'm gonna get the milk you go get the bananas"he jumped up and teto followed him. I nodded and then me and Miku walked to the bananas. I noticed She was very quiet today. I can't help but wonder what goes on in her head. "Hey Rin once we get the bananas do you mind if I go pick up my pills?"she asked. I nodded and we got the bananas.
I didn't like this silence.
At all.
Was it cause of yesterday?
I started to get a headache but Miku squeezed my hand. "Rin I'm fine."she said trying to reassure me. It's like she read mind. I just sighed and held her hand. We waited at the pharmacy and We felt rude stares. Gosh why can't two girls just hold hands?! It's not like we're making out on the counter or something. "Karera wa watashitachi o mitsumete iru yōna ki ga shimasu(I feel like they are staring at us)"I said to Miku in Japanesse. "Watashi mo sore o kanjimasu(I feel it too)."she nodded. "Shikashi, naze shikashi? !Watashitachi ga yatte iru subete wa tewotsunaide!
(but why though?!all we are doing is holding hands!)." I whispered back to her clearly angered. "Hitobito wa kono yōna kankei ni kirai(people just hate on relationships like these)."She sighed. "Wareware wa, shikashi, wareware wa aru to omou node, machigatte ikenai rin Arento (we arent wrong though rin so dont think that we are).she reassured me and I couldn't help but let those stares burn through my back. I wish I could believe her though. U can't help but think this is wrong and i am wrong.
We got the pills and then left. We paid for the food well Miku pitched in ((she shouldn't have!)). Teto bought herself chocolate and shared it with all of us. She didn't really share though she hogged it all. We all walked back home discussing why tomatoes aren't fruits. I believe they are but teto,Miku,and Len don't. It's been confirmed by scientist that it's a fruit! But I guess you can change people's minds. We all parted ways and me and Miku decided to practice for the talent show. But for real this time. I came up with a dance routine (I'm good at this stuff) and miku fell in love with it. "Rinny I think we're gonna win this!"Miku twirled and I nodded. After dancing it 2 times.We both took a break and laid down on her bed. One thing I noticed about Miku is that she learns quickly in stuff she is really invested in. If only she can do that with her school work. "Hey Miku.."I called her and she looked up at me "hm?". "How did Lola know..?"I asked her. "Lola was actually my best friend.."she admitted bitting her lip. I couldn't help but gasp. "You knew her? Did she ever talk about me?"I looked up at her curiously. "Yea but she never mentioned having a girlfriend or a partner for that matter."Miku mumbled. "Wow... That just shows how I meant nothing to her."I said feeling a pang in my chest. Miku wrapped her arms around my waist "you know I love you right?"she asked and I smiled at her "Miku you are nothing like her. Please don't doubt my love for you"I reassured her and she sighed of relief. And i softly pecked her lips.

"Aaayyyyyeeeee Rin and company!"she shouted as she ran to us from the moving van. She squeezed us and she glanced over at Len "wow you got a little taller."she tilted her head and Len looked like he achieved something. "So Meeks where's ya bro at?"gumi asked and she shrugged "he's probably running errands or something like That.". She smiled and then she ran off. Why was kaito always gone? I felt bad for Len cause he really wanted to see him more often but kaito is always busy. We waved bye at her. I know school was gonna get 10x better.

We returned to school the next day and gumi was in my 2,4,5,7 periods. She talked to me a lot just like old times but I noticed she had taken an interest in Miku. Like I know they were friends before but she had taken more of an interest. I know this is very Pety of me but
I felt a big pang of Jealousy.
Gumi has also made friends with this boy named Oliver. He is pretty innocent but yet has a weird side of him That gumi relates with. I was tempted to ask her why she broke all connection with me but yet it didn't seem like the right time. Maybe I'll ask her later. She's back and rolling just like old times. Did j mention seventh period yet? Our teacher changed our seats! Well most of our seats for that matter. Now we are in rows. I still sit next to Len but this is now who sits with who

But that doesn't stop us from whispering to eachother. But I miss our old seats to be honest. I sat down next to Miku as usual on the bus but she looked very tired and stressed. "Miku are you ok?"I asked her. "Not really."she admitted. "Whats wrong?"I asked her. "K-kaito has become addicted."she said choking in the middle of her sentence. "To what?"I asked. "Pot!".
