They say death is hardest on the living but, sometimes it's easier on those who are dead. No more suffering, especially for others and their games. Death is known for no longer living yet its not the greatest lost in life.

Never surrender.

However in the mist of death, we are in life.

We have come here to this place this afternoon to mourn a relative, brother, husband, dear friend, to honor a departed citizen of ours, to show our sympathy and to give comfort to those who feel the loss most, and for ourselves to meditate on the brevity of life.

Hear the word of God. As we come to this place, to remember and give thanks for the life of , let us also consider our own life and its meaning, as he has given meaning to our lives. Let us unite our hearts together in prayer.

"Eternal Father, before Whose face the generations rise and pass away; and in Whom we live and move and have our being, by Your holy spirit, reassure us, so that in this brief life our eyes may see the light of Your eternal truth, beyond the shades of earth, and find abundant grace in this our time of need. Hear us, O God of our salvation, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen." I said as I took a seat next to Marcia. "This is going well so far." She whispered softly, "Yeah, let's just hope it ends that way too." I replied and looked at Avery by the corner of my eye. She was sitting quietly in the pew, playing with her fingers almost as if she was nervous. "Tap Avery for me please." I whispered to Marcia who tapped Avery gently as she looked over at me. "Stay still." I muttered. "I'd like to invite Mr. Ian Samuels up to the podium." The priest announced as I stood up from my seat and made my way out of the aisle up to the podium. "When I was little, I didn't expect to be in a family. I've had a rough childhood and since I've joined this family, I've made a bond and a relationship towards them. My mother and father adopted me from foster care when I was four years old and since then I've been a brother to Jeremy. Jeremy and I haven't been the closest but, family is family and he is my brother. Jeremy was always full of surprises, I remember one day in the backyard we were playing and the next we hand our hands down the cookie jar until it was finished, little did I know, he lied saying we could finish it all before dinner, making us both take the blame.-" I said as the church filled with laughter. "Recently, I've returned to Nevada after many years and false death that my family has too been surprised by. Yet, after all we've pulled it together and made the best of it. Whether you knew my brother as a husband, a father, a dear friend, or family member he holds a special key to our hearts and he'll always be there, forever." I added and stepped down and went back to my seat as Avery glared at me. "Let us have a moment of silence." The priest announced as I started directly at the casket. "As soon as the dirt is hitting the casket, it'll all be forgotten." Avery muttered as I looked at her. "Eric Bogosian" she added.
