Chapter 14: Games People Play

A/N: So it's officially summer, hyfr. Time to stay up all night, o. lol, anyways..I have time to update my fanfic and come up with ideas now, and I wanna give a shoutout to my best friend. ^o^ she helped me with this chapter bc I really had no ideas, so this chapter wouldn't be possible without her. okie, here's chapter 14.

Avery

Was I suppose to go running back that easily? It's not easy, the pain. It's hard, not everyone understands how it feels. You try your best to make things work and the best for everyone, but you end up getting hurt in the end. The thought that Skylar might be alive killed me a little.

"It's about Skylar."  

"What about her?"  

"There's rumors going around that she's been seen around town, no one knows for sure if its someone that looks like her, or-"  

"Really is her?"  

"Exactly"

The great thing about California was the sunset. The skies, everything. It was, peaceful. It all made sense when you looked at it, it made life seem better and could make you forget about everything else going on. Everything like, Skylar.

Jason

"Yeah, I'll call you later."  

"-Okay, bye."  

"Who were you on the phone with?" I asked standing in the doorway of Sarah's room. "Uh, my brother." She replied softly, "-Um, yeah he called to see if I was home. You know how protective brothers are." She added. "Funny, it sounded like some other guy. Cause ya know, usually when my brother calls, I don't say 'I'll see you tonight baby.' "That's not really your concern." She replied. "It is when your cheating on my brother." I said taking one step closer to her. "You know I've always found you to be enticing." She replied. "You can play all you want Jason." She added coming closer to me as I backed up against the wall as she made her way to my ear and whispered, "I want you." She was mysterious and cunning, yet enticing. She was right, I did find her attractive. "Don't tell Alex." She whispered softly and started giggling as she began to take her shirt off revealing her lace bra. Immediately we went off from there and everything changed between us. She was still with Alex, although he began to realize something was going on between us and got jealous. That's when he introduced Sarah to Jesse. Sarah was practically Alex's life, so I have no idea why he would have someone kill her. However, I think it was to get back at me.

If Alex is alive then this is bad, he's been spiteful of me ever since. Immediately he'll find Avery and use her as a target to get back at me for taking Sarah away from him. He has a easier way of doing that since we're twins. He can take advantage of her any way he wants because we look alike and because he'll already have Avery's trust.

Avery

"Avery." Someone said softly as I turned back to see Jason. "What do you want?" I asked frustrated. "I'm sorry about what happened, I was being an ass." He replied. "You know how I get when I'm tense, I was never trying to hurt you the way I did. I care about you, Avery." He added. "I love you." He said as he softly ran his fingers through my red hair. "I love you too." I replied and started to kiss him. "I can't wait any longer, Avery." He muttered softly. "I want you." He groaned. I looked up at him as he ran his hands up my thighs. "Okay." I mumbled. He got up and picked me up as we went towards his car. Immediately, he pushed me against the car seat and started to tug on my shirt, "Take it off." He demanded as he let go of me and helped me take my shirt off revealing my bra. He bit his lip, and started to make his way to my torso, "Again." He demanded helping me take my belt off and slid my jeans off. I started to grab onto his hair, "Your shirt." I said in between kissing. He stopped kissing me and took his shirt off. "Don't be scared." He said softly. "I'm not." I replied. "Good." He muttered as he laid me back down and continued kissing me when my phone buzzed. "Crap, my phone." I said jumping up. "Just ignore it." He said holding me by my waist. "It's probably my parents-", "Wait, why are you calling me?" I said as I answered the phone, "Hello?" I answered confusingly. "Av, you answered." He said, "Jason." I asked confusingly, "Yeah, what's wrong?" He asked as I looked back. "Nice to meet you Avery, I'm Alex." He said grinning. "Shit." I cursed under my breath and turned back around as I bit my lip nervously. "Hang up." He demanded, "I-", "Hang up." He shrieked. "What do you want?" I asked. "I'm surprised your not familiar with this game." He added. "What game?" I snapped. "Woah, red head and feisty. I like that." He said. I started to glare at him, "Is the part were you kill me?" I asked sarcastically. "Why, do you honestly think I would kill one of Skylar's friends?" He asked. "What's that suppose to mean?" I said slipping back into my jeans.
